This place is bomb dot com. I recommend their olive tapenade on EVERYTHING. Pizza margarita is delicious, high quality cheese. Pizza Bianca and mac n cheese also great.

I'm full Italian. This is the best pizza outside of Italy. Molte buona!

Really great prices. Their manager is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. If you talk to him, he'll tell you he's been in the business for years and he personally knows every single person who he buys wine from in Italy. His passion really comes across in the restaurant. Great variety of pizzas, very friendly staff, and good casual ambiance as well. I've loved everything I've tried here!

Simply the best, most authentic and cheapest pizza in town. They fly their dough in from Italy! Ferment it overnight, and then bake in a traditional built out Italian pizza oven. Get the Buffalo Mozzarella pizza with Prosciutto, which is amazing, for $10! Warm and comfortable, with a funky and reasonable wine list. This is one of the great finds in the city.

My family used to be regulars at the Pitfire on Fairfax, but had to find a new spot after they changed to Gesso, and we're better off for it. Romana is great. The pizza is on point and they've got some nice sides and good beer and wine options at a nice price. Totally kid and family friendly and the food comes out quickly. We really love this spot for our regular pizza fix.

I've only ordered takeout but damn this place is good! The bolognaise pizza is to die for. And they have one of the best ranch dressings I have ever tasted! The lasagna is worth trying and so is the mac and cheese. I ordered a bunch of things for a small get together and everybody scarfed it all down!

I had a really great time here. The personal pizzas hit the spot, there's no wrong choice. Of course, I had pepperoni. It had the woodfired taste on the crust. Its a fun trip to the bathroom...there's a line you need to follow to get to it but its clean and only good for 1 person at a time.

Great fast casual spot for Italian style pies, and surprisingly good fried chicken. The pies are individual sized and made to order. The menu if full of pre chosen pizza options. I had ordered a couple pies and some fried chicken strips. The pies were great, but the chicken here may be the real champion. The fried chicken batter was light and crispy, well seasoned, and not greasy. Will return to try more here.

Excellent Neapolitan style pizza. First rate ingredients, many imported from Italy. Bonus: Italian beer on draft! Comfortable seating. Extremely reasonable prices

Okay this neopolian style pizza place goes over-looked for many, but they actually make really high quality and delicious pizza. Their fried chicken is some of my favorite fried chicken in the city. The restaurant is immaculate. They serve beer and wine.

This has become my favorite pizza place in LA. It's every bit as good as Mozza, which is just down the street, but there is never a wait, and it's literally half the price. They use quality ingredients, and grow a lot of their own toppings in DTLA on a rooftop garden. Real Italians both work there and regularly frequent the place, which should be credit enough. To Top it off, their Non-pizza items are just as good. The 'best fried chicken' is an absolute must, the lasagna is great, and they have their own gelato bar. There's not a ton of parking, but there is a valet stand right outside. Ignore their not great signage and check out what will be your new favorite pizza.

Pizza Romana definitely impressed. Most ingredients for their pizzas, including the dough, are flown in from Italy. Excellent crumb structure in the finished product. The prosciutto was similarly amazing, with a nice layer of Marscapone. Also, they have the "Best Fried Chicken Ever" on their menu; I don't think it quite lives up to the name, but it's a pretty tasty interpretation, with a nice kick to the batter.

Amazing pizza. I went with six friends and we tried three different pizzas and a bunch of sides. The crust was crunchy and fluffy and the ingredients tasted fresh. We ordered the pesta, meat pizza and basil. All very good. For sides we had the roasted cauliflower which was cooked nicely, it had a crunch and good flavor. Roasted brussel sprouts has some kind of garlic and bacon, it was delicious. The mac and cheese was delicious. We ended up ordering 2 "Best fried chicken ever". It's a 1/2 of a chicken, deboned and fried. Breading was delicious, meat was juicy. The chicken seems to have been marinated with something prior to breading and frying because it didn't really need any sauce. The bread has a slow creeping spice to it which was awesome. An order of meatballs come with 5 and 3 bread sticks. Sauce was good and they melted some cheese on it. It was good, but nothing mind blowing like that chicken. At the end we ordered a hazelnut gelato and an order of coffee. Very generous portions, easily enough for two per order. The only thing that caught me by surprise was that they didn't provide table service. You go to the counter to order and they bring it to you. There is a decent selection of beers but you'll order by the pint and not pitcher. Service is fast, friendly and informative. Definitely some of the best pizza I've had and I will definitely be coming back when I'm craving pizza!

Authentic amazing Italian pizza and beer. Deliscious, high quality and fresh ingredients. Very clean and nice restaurant. Great service and nice restrooms. Parking available on city streets. Casual attire. Wine room available.

Absolutely delicious and inexpensive! The real taste of Italian pizza. The cherry gelato dessert is really good as well but I wished there was a tiramisu. Add a tiramisu to the menu and I'll rate pizza Romana 6 stars đŸ¤“

I love Pizza Romana! Amazing pizzas, a original Italian pizza, great sides of roasted vegetables with a great variety of wine. Would choose Pizza Romana over any other pizzaria in LA. A+++ amazing atmosphere with amazing service.

Wonderful atmosphere and pizza, fresh and well prepared. The coffee gelato was delicious and imported from Sicily. Emanuele, the assistant manager, was extremely kind, personable and accommodating. Highly recommended!
