A really good place to go on a food trip. The variety of food you‘ll get from Asian, European or Mexican food. Since my family prepares Filipino food, we opt for Mexican. The best Mexican we ever had (living in Germany). The atmosphere was very friendly and fun. You have to go around to be able to decide which one you‘ll get.

I went to China Cafe, and the seafood wonton soup was so delicious. The service is great if, we consider the amount of people that just always around. The flavor, the spices, and the broth complementing the soup. The atmosphere around really change, nowadays it's more gentrify. Everything changed, the good old food stands disappears.

After a visit to the Broad museum, we were pretty hungry, so we decided to go to the Grand Central Market for some food. It’s always a fun spot to visit people watch eat lunch eat snacks they’ve got it all. Definitely a variety of food from American to Italian Mexican Asian. Hey, serve beer in different places the restrooms they got sweets so one stop shop for delicious food. It’s an open air market and it’s quite lively. Little busy but nothing too bad. We are easily able to find a spot to have four of us sit and eat and enjoy our delicious Carnitas! We ended up parking in the structure pretty much attached to the market cost was four dollars so pretty cheap and was easy to get in and out. Recommend parking in that location.

Hige variety of food and drinks. The food is bursting with flavor. It has authentic Chinese food. Shrimp chop suey. comes with rice and soup (chicken broth) with green onions. There were plenty of options for a vegetarian and a meat-eater Portion sizes vary but some dishes can be large. Free samples are also a bonus. There are tables scattered around each stall but if it's busy it is very hard to find a place to sit. Great selection of food options, with choices for everyone. A great place to meet friends and family for some social dining, with lots of room to sit, relax, catch-up and enjoy the food and drinks. Toilets and bonus sales of clothes and accessories can be found on the bottom floor. Worth the visit and can accommodate people in any kind of group.

I would highly recommend this place as a family outing or even first date! There’s a lot of great food in there for anyone /all diets. Also great for people watching. Once you’re done here, take a stop at The Last Bookstore next door, then visit the tram for $2

Got there about 10 minutes after they opened. It was not as busy as it gets once it’s later in the day. If you don’t want to wait around too much and have it be so crowded then I’d suggest you get there early! It was a great atmosphere with delicious foods/desserts all around you! Every time I’ve gone to California I have enjoyed stopping by for a meal due to the experience. Dogs are not allowed but if you get there early enough they’re not very strict about it. I had my dog in a stroller (I know) and wasn’t given any problems! Others were also walking around with their dogs but as I mentioned it wasn’t very crowded so the dogs had no issue walking around. If you go later in the day when it’s busy I’d be careful with having your dog come! I would for sure go back and try different foods!

This historic building has been around since 1917. I remembered as a place where you will find bunch of meat market with produces where many immigrants came to buy food at a good price but now it is filled with many gourmet food stands around the world.. a fun place to goto especially on the weekend.. so many to choose from for everyone!

I might come at the wrong time 😄 I expect more crowded more vibe more people. I’m familiar with Asian food court market and European fresh food market which offers atmosphere of good prepared food, with attractive display, especially the vibe of eager “trying out all the shops”. I came at noon, i followed the review and parked at the park haus with connection to the market. it was very convenient. The restrooms are clean. The space generally was clean but not the vibe I expected. Maybe I will try another time.

I love hanging out there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can find all them and you can choose the type of food you like more. If you go with family and friends everyone can buy food from the differents vendors and you can sit all together having lunch
