I believe one of the best Lomo saltado in LA. Very hearty, high protein and carbs. Very good flavor my only critique would have to be wish they just add more sauce onto the plate.

I have been going to Mario’s for over 20 years but had not been there since pre-pandemic. I ordered the Lomo Salgado but the steak was very, very tough. Usually spot on, so maybe it was an off day for the cook. Portions are huge and the taste was still very good.
This is probably the only spot I desire when I think Peruvian food ! If you know if any other spot please let me know and I will try it but I doubt that it would knock this one out the park. This is a hole-in-the-wall family restaurant. All the food we ordered was good and authentic, but it isn't the best Peruvian food I've had. I would say though, their portions are extremely generous. You can definitely split one Lomo Saltado, their signature dish, with two adults.

A staple. A must. The green sauce is heavenly and I just always go for the same lomo saltado. Lots of parking around the neighborhood or try the lot.

Great Peruvian food. The wait was over an hour, but worth the wait. Portions are surprisingly big. Lomo saltado, ceviche mixto, and Tallerin saltado where on point. Highly recommend.
