The foods are so delicious plus many choices of foods and full flavor of spices. services are excellent and everything are very good standards because restaurant’s owner mostly on restaurant to make sure everything good and make customers happy
A wonderful place for hidden Himalayan gems. Likely the only place for chili yak and momo dumplings. The chilli yak was certainly the star of the show. Marinated full of flavor and cooked to fall apart rather easily, yak can be known to be tough. Lamb momo dumplings while tasty were served open and
Great Himalayan taste in Los Angeles. Wonderful ambience and excellent customer service. Parking space available for few vehicle in the back from right turn just before the restaurant.
The food is freshly made. It’s Himalayan cuisine with some Indian and Chinese twist on their menu. We especially love the veggie korma as it’s creamy and not overly flavorful. The ambience of the place is cozy and relaxing. They also serve in-house alcohol drinks. Parking in the rear. It’s a little
Lots of vegetarian and some vegan options. Everything was extremely delicious and the service was very helpful and friendly. Large outdoor patio.
The food here was very well made, and prices are reasonable. Chicken curry and daal fry were both tasty with rice, garlic naan is crispy and satisfying, and the Momo were tasty too. My absolute favorite item was the mango chutney.
Good Nepali restaurant but staff was even not sure I can park at the back. very narrow parking area though. Server was very helpful. One thing that I didn't like was 4% (credit card) fee. Business of this size should not be passing that to the customer.
I can’t tell you guys how much I love this place. Our server was super nice and friendly. We visited last night coz we were craving some momos. We ordered chicken and veg thukpa, chicken and veg momos, chicken thaali and coz my friend she eats no spices and no barely any salt, so they made for her a
Yummy!! Didn’t think I’d like Yak but now I’m a fan! Tried the yak Chilli, chicken saag, garlic naan and a bottle of wine. Everything was flavorful and so delicious. Staff is super friendly as well. Looking forward to returning and trying more dishes!
Authentic Indian food. Went there twice in the last 7 days, Khasi ko Masu (Goat curry) is phenomenal! Combined with their super thin and buttery garlic naan, it’s a total party in your mouth. Recommend getting Chilli Chicken as appetiser. It’s a quaint little family run joint, be patient with their
After a long 8 hour drive from Reno to LA, we stopped by this Nepali restaurant to grab lunch. It had been a while since I ate momos so I was really excited. They had nice outdoor seating area. We ordered Chicken momo, chicken chowmein, chili chicken and thukpa. The gentleman working there recommend
Good food and very friendly staff members. We had their Chicken steam momo and Chicken chili. Chef Dhan was very professional and helpful. He recommended us their best beer. They have parking behind their restaurant building. Overall great experience. Must-go place if you're nearby Culver city and a
One of the best restaurants in LA! I've been coming here for over 15 years and it never disappoints. The Mahkani curry is the best I've ever had. When I order this dish elsewhere, I'm always sad because it isn't as good. The owner and staff are lovely and the dining room and outdoor seating space ha
Eat: Samosas, Steamed Momo, Chana Masala, Garlic Tofu, Yak Chili, Garlic Naan Saw: yaks that didn’t talk back, momo samosa, tasteful design, garlic breath, yappy company Tell(e): 9.13 / 10 Hi-bite: Samosas, Garlic Tofu Lo-bite: None
Still by far the best Indian restaurant I’ve had in LA and Seattle after trying multiple different restaurants in both cities. Out of the 6 or 7 I’ve tried around LA so far, no other Indian restaurant has come even close to their quality and flavor. I recommend the vegetarian tikka massala. You won’
This is one of the best Nepali kitchen in this town. You can try some awesome food in this place. I really enjoyed the food and so does my friends. You will never regret being at this place. You may enjoy nepali and Indian taste with your friends and family.
Authentic Tibetan chicken momo’s, including yummylicious sauce. They got best momo’s, traditional thukpa, traditional thali( good for 1 person). Must try this place, you got lot’s of veg options but veg momo’s are not that great. Mention your spice level, its nice hot. Staff is great and we were lu
Top notch. Was in LA for few hours and had to go check Nepali restaurant around. This was the closest that I found. The ambience here gave me warm homely feel. I had Nepali thali and Chicken steamed Momo which I think any Nepali would get no matter where we go. Makes me drool just thinking about it
Haven’t come to Tara’s in over five years. Loved the food then, and still love it now. This time, I ordered the chicken momos (dumplings), Sherpa stew, and a mixed bbq platter to share with my sister. Needless to say, it was too much for the both of us so we had leftovers. Definitely recommend this
