Soild place with good food and drinks. Very much in the California Craftsman style of Silver Lake / Brooklyn / New Bohemian without being pretentious. Prices were as expected – on the high side for cocktails but more reasonable for sharable items. As expected it was rather loud inside. Try to get a table on the patio in back if possible. If I was being picky is rate this as "4.5 stars" rather than "5+ stars". There was absolutely nothing wrong with it but probably isn't worth a special trip.

This place is very nice. We had a delish brunch of sweet pea toast and pumpkin granola. There is a nice take away place joining the dine in section which dis great Brownies. The staff were very helpful and profesh but didn't hover and gave us plenty of time.

A nice quaint kinda cozy place, We shared a breakfast Burger with added avocado and some nice home red skin potatoes, ice tea and a Mexi Sprite. For $28. The staff was pleasant and inviting i would go back.

Sawyer is a must when in Silver Lake! We were walking around in the area in the evening, and just happened upon it. Boy am I glad that we did!! It was extremely crowded and popular, but they put us on their waiting list and we were able to get a table within 15 minutes. They were very sweet and helpful! I love the vibe inside the dining area, with the dim lighting, the brick wall, and the modern hardwood floors and long wooden table in the center. We ordered the crab mac'n'cheese and "Sawyer fries", which came with an egg and other toppings. They were both delicious! The best macaroni and fries I have seriously ever had. And they came in cute, beautiful polish looking plates. The food seriously had the perfect balance of different textures and flavors to make it come out to perfection, I'll definitely be coming back to try the other dishes. What a find!

Brunch here was amazing. Polite staff and good service. Make sure to make a reservation. Bloody Mary's are pretty darn good.

Bright and airy ambience with fresh flavors. Quality of food is fantastic. Huge open space with great natural lighting. Service was transparent and friendly. The menu online doesn't do it justice - give it a shot! I ordered the crab cakes and they were delicious

Oysters were perfect 👌 I asked the super friendly awesome bartender for dealers choice on the oysters and I was so happy I did! I'll definitely be back to try their happy hour. They have six oysters and a beer or glass of wine for under $15 bucks! What?!
