Absolutely fantastic pizza and a good friendly and chatty staff. We went late in the night but they still served us great pizzas and garlic bread stick. Just at the base of the road going uphill on Beverly hills.

Interestingly we chatted with the couple on the next table - they ran a pizzeria in New York and never miss eating here when in LA.

This is some of the best New York style pizza I've had within the Los Angeles area. Tried pizza while visiting New York back in June and this topped that...or at least topped the place I chose.

I sometimes like to get a visual of food that I order as well as view a menu so it's cool that Vito's have most of their pizza's displayed upon entering. I had my mind pretty much made up upon two pizzas I saw but continued to view the menu only to go with the two pizzas I saw as their descriptions only made me want them more LOL.

I ordered a slice of red meats and the white pesto...both delicious!!! The meatier the pizza the better and red meats delivers with flavorful sausages, meatballs and pepperoni. Now the next slice kind of contradicts my first statement as it has no meat what so ever but aye, I'm a pesto fan and it's done right with the cheese on the white pesto.

There's tons of pizza joints in LA that produces New York style pizza and I've only been to a handful but out of the bunch, this was the best. Vito's will be my go to for NY pizza.

if you like NY style pizza and NY style Italian food Vito's is the pizza place restaurant for you.  I grew up in Ny and worked at a pizza place so it brought back some really good memories as food often does.

Calzone was amazing. Bring an appetite as the servings are enough for two. Taking the cannoli's home for later

Fab Pies!. The Pizza Margherita had just the right proportion of sweet tomato sauce and cheese. Vito is a character. The Chicken Caesar salad came with a whole chicken breast in bread crumbs piping hot. I called and ordered by phone and took it home. It is a great neighborhood place!

A good New York slice is damn near impossible to find in Los Angeles, especially on the west side of town (don’t you dare bring up Lamonica’s, fellow Bruins). There have been many imitators who are quick to add “New York” to their names and pizzas, in a town that is suddenly bursting with self-proclaimed pizzanistas and pizza snobs. While I’ve recently found a decent variation of such near my apartment, it was the version I had at Vito’s Pizza in West Hollywood a couple of months ago that restored my faith in knowing that there’s indeed a New York pizza comparable to its founding place. I always wondered whether a pizza should be crispy or chewy (like how the pizzas at Pizzeria Mozza are more of the former, or how a legit Neapolitan pie is more of the latter – a characteristic which I haven’t been able to fully appreciate just yet), but judging by a slice from Vito’s, it appears that it can and should be both. The crust is thin and crispy, yet the giant slice doesn’t crack or crumble w

When the buzz first started several months back about Vito's Pizza being resurrected, there was an air of excitement amongst pizza aficionados of the likes I haven't seen in a very long time. I wondered what was so special about Vito's Pizza. Apparently,

As someone from the east coast, it’s hard to find good by the slice pizza. Well I’ve found it. The meatball/jalopeno pizza is divine. My girlfriend loved the Hawaiian and the white pesto. The dough is classic East coast tasting. The prices are also very fair. Highly recommend any pizza lover checks this place out.

After an extended hiatus from Vito’s, I visited last week. It wasn’t the amazing pizza it once was - but still solid East Coast slices. During this visit, the dough was a undercooked and chewy. Hopefully it was an off day. I’ll definitely return and try again.

“We don’t have sausage patties, we aren’t McDonalds”- overheard the attendant taking a phone order, LOL. Vitos moved about three doors down from where they were. The new place is much larger. The pizza was crazy good. #NYStylePizza. We got margherita, pesto, and meat slices and they were all very good; hot, tasty, and worth the price.

A lot of places tout NY Style pizza but this place is the real deal. Either whole pie or by the slice, you can’t go wrong. Wish I found this place sooner. Only area of improvement was the fried ravioli.

Delicious mediocre East Coast style pizza. For moments where you feel gluttonous and only a greasy pizza joint can satisfy. It’s not great but it reminds me of home and definitely is a “type” of pizza. Hits a spot that’s hard to scratch here in LA!

Closest I can find to an NYC slice in LA area. Not all Vito's are equal but the way they slap pies + ingredients here make me think of Bleeker street pizza. As with any NY style pizza joint, you gotta get it for dine-in so you get the proper flop, size and experience. Like your next day pizza cold? Get extra tomato sauce, you'll thank me tomorrow.
