They guys behind the counter were super friendly and helpful. They were able to help me order and pick an amazing gluten-free dessert. I got the Ube with a custard add on. They also got fruity pebbles, coconut flakes, and fresh strawberry. Again this was an amazing treat. The table I sat at was a li
Superb! Whether you've had taiyaki or not, you have to try this place. It's one of the best dessert spots in town. The taiyaki here is incredibly cute, especially the upside-down one—it's as if it's trying to eat your ice cream but can't fit all in its mouth. They offer a wide variety of fillings an
Us: got the original in Oreo and matcha. It's pretty good. The place is spotless. You order by tablet and get it very quick. Others: recommend the original. You can add topping after all the transaction which I didn't know. The icecream tend to melt fast but it's good solid taste.
My 215th review goes to no others than the GOATS themselves: SomiSomi. I lived in Costa Mesa for 3 years and would frequently visit their Diamond Jamboree location. This location is just as good, except it's smaller. The addition of the touchscreens to be able to place your order is a super nice to
When I went the pandemic was starting to die down, so maybe they weren't operating at full capacity. I was hoping to get black sesame and matcha - ube was the only option. Good texture and presentation, but the flavor was a bit lacking for the ube. Next time I'm in LA I'd come back - black sesame i
A really great spot for taiyaki. The reason it’s my favorite is because they have taro taiyaki. Most places don’t have it. They also have Nutella and cheddar taiyaki among other flavors. This place is really popular so sometimes you have to wait.
If you like taiyaki, I'm sure this place won't disappoint. All the flavors that I had were tasty and the batter was hot and crispy. If you want something savory, the cheese one is pretty good too.
Super! The cookie and cream ah boong was delicious. It was my first time there and it was a wonderful experience. The inside of the taiyaki filled with red bean with cookie and cream on top will be the number one flavor I will recommend.
It was a long wait for a cup of ice cream, but i liked it. Ube ice cream has always been my favourite and of course i had to get it. It was good and that fish pastry was pretty good too!
Came on recommendation of a friend who had posted on Instagram. It is located inside a shopping center, so it does have a parking lot. It is a cute little shop. The soft serve ice cream was delicious. I had the matcha/cookies and cream swirl topped with toasted coconut with goldfish-shaped waffl
It was a rainy night and we decided to have ice cream we found it by search and the point was that they were open until 10:30. I've tried blueberry and I can not remember the other one and that was delicious also I loved the crispy coconut on the top they were amazing. Also, they have some devices t
Perfect treat on a summer day. You order at the kiosk and pick your cone, flavor, filling. Typically, there’s a line but depending on when you go you may get lucky. Service is fast, and the ice cream isn’t over overly sweet. It’s a lot though. I never finish.
I love this chain :) they have really good ice cream and a cute freshly made waffle fish to eat with it. My favorite filling is the custard, it goes so well with the other flavors. You can also get crumbled toppings such as biscoff crumbs and a strawberry or a macaroon. They also have rotating ice c
Place is very interesting is my first time but was easy since is digital order. Flavor is great
This place is a star in my girlfriend’s eyes. They loved the matcha cookies n cream and the fish and guava ube I almost forgot to mention the strawberry milk. I heard it was delicious!!! Im not much of a strawberry myself but I do trust my girl
SOMI SOMI!! If you are in Los Angeles, and would like to try something unique and different...I recommend for you to go to Somi Somi. This particular location is in Koreatown on Western. It's on the 3rd level of the mini shopping center (Where the H mart is located). Their ice cream is delicious!!!
Truly the one of the best, if not the best soft serve I’ve ever had in my life. The taiyaki with taro filling was so so so good, fresh and warm. I had the ube flavored soft serve with matcha powder and coconut flakes and it was really authentic and good. It rose beyond my expectations. Highly recomm
I absolutely love Somi Somi in Koreatown! Every visit here is a delightful experience. What sets it apart is that it's rarely crowded, allowing you to savor your ice cream in a relaxed environment. The cleanliness and cool ambiance add to the charm. What I appreciate most is the proximity to local
Taiyaki is great, but they don’t usually put ice cream in it. Unless it’s a Samanco. I love the fish shaped pastry that’s used as a cone or decoration. But some of my favorite flavors are black sesame and cookies and cream. Yum yum. The only downside is how fast it melted :(
