The service was very good and the food was excellent. The portions of food were quite a bit more than we could eat. I personally had the meatball sandwich and it was enormous.

Good Pizza. Went on Sunday with a couple of friends. Good pizza. Reasonably priced. Parking is hit or miss, but worth going. House wine was $5.50 a glass and my medium pizza was about $15.

Lido's Pizza - Menu. A good traditional old-fashion pizza joint.

Good Eatin'. Parking sucks. But once you are in... I love, love, love their lasagna and their pizza (which you can ask for 'spicy').

Old School Styley. Pizza Good! Pasta homemade with a solid marinara. Priced friendly with a nifty curbside pickup. Inside is fine and old style...Pitchers of beer are ice cold and clutch. Pitchers of beer seem to be a thing of the past unless you want to endure the horrifying confines and low grade grub at Shakeys.

Some little known facts about Mrs. Burgerdogboy:  she was raised by gypsies in the San Fernando Valley; because her family were travelers, there was no pizza place that could deliver, and, when G’ma wasn’t baking up mounds of from scratch Neapolitan style pizzas, Lido Pizza in Van Nuys was the family’s preferred provider. Long story short, Mrs. BDB decided to surprise me to a Lido pie recently. It’s a crust on the thinnish side, which I always prefer, crispy around the edge, nice and chewy as you work inward. She took it upon herself to devise a combo she thought I would like, sausage, salami, meatball, and black olive, and it was superb. The cheese was what struck me, tho, over the top in quantity and quality, the kind that stretches a foot when you lift a slice out of the box. Thank you Mrs. BDB, I think I’ll keep you, as long as we can return to Lido next time we are in L.A. Lido Pizza has locations in Van Nuys, Saugus, Canyon Country, Simi Val

To start the sourdough rolls are crispy and hot. The portions are pretty big. The eggplant parm was enough for 2 meals. Their pasta is homemade and the sauce is very good. Definitely returning back!

All their pasta is made fresh and in house. From the first bite you can tell the difference in taste and texture. Their pizzas are absolutely delicious, thick layer of cheese and plentiful toppings. Don’t shy away from their side salad either. They also have an all you can eat pasta option for those of you that are super hungry. They have a small parking lot in front and in the back, but there’s usually street parking available. If you love that old world vibe, dim lighting, red vinyl booths, you’ll enjoy the atmosphere here. Same owners as Chi-Chi’s pizza, but this is the original restaurant and location.

I can’t remember the last time I had Pizza like theirs. The pizza was so cheesy, tasty and bread crust was baked to perfection. Ceasar salad was fresh. Their rolls where soft and hot out the oven. Spaghetti noodles where just the right size and meat sauce was on point. I had some leftover and still tasted good after reheating them in microwave. Customer service was a plus. Parking is a problem but I don’t mind parking on side street.

I've always passed this place for many years. Today I had the chance to stop and try their food. I actually drove back there. The pizza was unbelievable and the eggplant parm was on delicious, clean and simple food but yet tasty old school Italian. Not a whole lot but just very delicious.

5 stars overall because the food is good and the service was good as well. It looks kinda like a hole in the wall place from the outside so don't miss it! The inside is largely the same due to how dark it is (tough to read the menu it so dark), but it is clean and the staff was extremely welcoming and quite attentive. The restroom was clean and I felt safe and conformable. Next time im in SoCal I would return to enjoy some more of their awesome pizza and pasta. I got the Southern sampler plate and it was tasty! My husband got pizza and it was some of the best pizza we've had, so good we shared his leftovers for breakfast the next day and it was as delicious cold as it was hot so when you go here, I would recommend the pizza over any of the pasta dishes, just because the pizza is THAT good!

Lido's Pizza is always on a list of choices when I'm in the valley. Don't underestimate the size of the pizza when it's placed on your table. The pizza dough is thin but not hard. The cheese is thick and tries to hold on to other slices when you grab one. The toppings are placed so every bite has something to enjoy. You will be in a food coma once your belly has had enough. Atmosphere wise, the place is a classic scene and struck in a certain timeline. It's been like that for YEARS... But you didn't come for the scene. The pizza and ravioli are always my must haves for Lido's!!! I wish there were more branches...

Small parking lot, easy to order over the phone, easy pick up. Food is always so good - they've been in business for a while and it seems like they have a lot of regulars. I especially love their lasagna but a lot of times the lasagna container ends up leaking or spilling on the side - most likely due to how its held, so the container gets bent in some way. The pizza I usually get with extra cheese and who wouldn't want that?! The medium pizza is 10 slices so it's just the right size for a group of 3 ppl with other stuff. They also don't take too long making the food so that's always a plus! If you're in the area, check this spot out!

Best Pizza. Rolls are incredible. We as always order extra. Pasta is always predictably great and consistent. I could go on. Been going for 20 years. I live an hour away now but get bye when I get anywhere close! Today I had a Cold Cut Sandwich. It was huge! Very tasty. Staff was very attentive towards my daughters birthday party.
