I stopped over for a quick dinner and got their vegan dirty rice. I appreciate the varity of their menu.
The servers were courteous and helpful. When I asked for hot sauce, the asked if I was vegan because the hot sauce contains butter. It's thoughtfulness like that that will make me come back.

Po’Boys are the best thing on the menu.
The red beans & rice however are disgraceful. Tastes like the chili eaten on hotdogs. Not a lick of New Orleans seasoning: bay leaf, green onion, celery etc. Don’t order those, worst red beans I’ve ever had
Nice place to grab a bite to eat right up the street from us. They seem to be pretty popular cause people were coming in and out consistently.
I ordered some vegan wings & fries... the wings can be a variety of flavors (I chose lemon pepper) they were good taste wise but were cooked a lil too long
Fresh delicious sandwich. Macaroni salad was good. Spicy. I wanna try chicken clam chowder they have as an occasional special
I had the catfish po-boy and it was delicious. I follow O&Y on Instagram and always thought the pictures of the food they post looked yummy, so while I was in Los Angeles I noticed the location on Slauson and Overhill Dr. and decided to visit. I was not disappointed at all. Very very good! Go check
Got a shrimp and catfish poboy and Cajun fried. Pretty decent. Main caveat is just the two lacked a little in flavor. Both the seafood and fries were fried well, but could’ve used more seasoning. Baguette was alright, not the freshest, not sure why there wasn’t remoulade sauce smothered in. They do
The place is clean. The bathroom is clean. There is plenty of parking, great drink selection, lots of side options, and food is fresh and good. Only a negative is that they don't have ice, chairs are not very comfortable, and you have to sit next to each other, not across due to the seating. There
Their hero bread is NYC certified good. So good to have a little bit of home here on the West coast.
This place is delicious. I recommend the mumbo gumbo it's big enough for two ppl to comfortably eat it! It's not spice, but very well seasoned
The service here was not on point. It wasn't busy, yet no one came to the counter after an arrival and then waiting for about 10 minutes.

I had the inspiration rice and a cornbread it was so good. And I got the catfish platter he said the fish was good the only thing that was bad was the size of the potato salad
We Had A Great Experience ! Awesome Food, it was Hot, Crispy, and Seasoned to Perfection !! We Had Red Snapper Platter, Shrimp Po'Boy, & CatFish Platter !! Keep Doing It Orleans & York !!!
