I had s great morning experience here at Cafe Crepe. The customer service was excellent. My coffee was delicious and my crepe was yummy as well. ☕️😋 Good way to start my train ride to San Diego. “All aboard!!” Choo-Choo 🚈💨💨💨
Excellent food. The service was kind of slow, waited 40 minutes for the food. The staff is very friendly. Had the portobello burger and the lamb, both were delicious!
I’ll admit, I’ve had some hit-or-miss experiences here, but I think I’ve finally found the menu items that click with me. Among them are the $11 Café Crêpe breakfast special (3 eggs, sausage or bacon, and one of 4 simple crêpes), which I recommend as a good alternative to the Denny’s on the east side of Union Station.
This restaurant offers both a takeout counter as well as a table-service dining area (one of only two sit-down restaurants at Union Station).
Convenient walking distance from Union Station’s Metro station platforms.
We are our food there while waiting for the bus to Bakersfield. In our rush to get on it, I left my purse on the back of my seat. As soon as I realized it, I called and they said they had found it. I let them know I would send them a package w self mailing postage inside so they could return it to me on my funds. Unknown to me, my mailing sticker to myself had all the wrong kind of info. The manager at Café Crêpe was on the spot on the return but my purse travelled all around CA before finding it's way home via USPS dire to my messed up label. When I got it back, EVERYTHING was there and had not been touched. NOTHING was stolen ID wise, either, and this review is 8 mths later. The food was tasty, the service was kind and their integrity is of the UTMOST! Thanks to all the staff for handling my crazy calls about my purse and being so quick to return it.
I didn't quite know what to expect here, but was presently surprised! The coffee I ordered was good. The sandwich I ordered was big! And pretty tasty! It's a casual place (hello, it's in a train station!), but still a bit pricy, so wear your jeans, but bring your dress wallet. The staff was attentive, and friendly. But my five-star recommendation is mostly based on the food.
The beers is good, service slow. Slow may be an understatement, but that's because there's usually ONE waitress tending to everyone there, taking not only orders but pouring, prepping and serving as well.
Tip them well, they are working their tails off.
It was nice to have a cup of coffee inside the station sitting at the table while Starbucks did not have any seats. Would have given 5 stars if there were power outlets available for my laptop. Overall good.
What a great experience. I had the blueberry crepe with fresh blueberries and it was delicious. Add to that coffee that was perfect and exceptional service. A bit pricey as the crepe and coffee was almost $13 but was so good I didn't mind.
The best description I have is excellent! I've have their vegetarian crepe and I was most impressed, and I didn't leave hungry. The place has good coffee, and a restaurant area in close proximity to the Amtrak/Metrolink waiting room.
So I was at union station in LA. A really nice transportation hub for ground travel and you can get shuttles to LAX. Anyway it was early and I was hungry. A crepe shop was open and I am here to tell you it was delicious. I had a latte and a ham and white cheddar crepe. Dude are you kidding me. Run walk fly take a bus take a train just get there and get a crepe. And buy one for me and then cal Le and bring it over. I will have the wine we can eate crepes and listen to Madeleine Peyroux.
