went for a company party. food was great, beautiful atmosphere but a bit cold. they only
had 8 heat lamps to serve a party of close to 80, but we also chose to have the party in cold December lol
food was delicious in my opinion and the the view was just beautiful being downtown.
i feel like the waiters could have been a bit more on top of who chose what meal and they didn’t seem willing to serve extra guacamole 🥑 without asking for an extra charge.
with the understanding they were catering to a large party, i feel they did fairly well.
This place has very delicious food and drinks. I like how much flavor everything has. The drinks are very upscale. The only complaint is some of the items are a bit small in portion for the price point. The staff is very friendly, I recently had an incident where I got a chip in my eye (yes a chip) and someone from the kitchen staff came to help me and checked in on me. I was very grateful for his assistance. So far everything I have tried has been on point, shall return.

Came here for a business lunch and had exceptional service while sitting on the outdoor patio. The carne asada tacos were good, the guacamole and chips were great, and it’s a nice little Los Angeles view in the financial district. Would recommend and go again for the business lunch. Only thing I’d change is adding printed menus. Scanning the QR code isn’t enjoyable to most people. Very nice overall experience at apex Cantina
Pricey for tacos, yeah - but food, ambiance and service was on point.
Topped it off with their Creme Brûlée with chocolate pearls and a caramel drizzle that knocked my socks off.
Best I ever had, for real.
First time trying, I got so caught up in the food but it was delicious! I had the special salad for lunch and highly recommend. They have a special seasoning on their chips which are divine! I bought the seasoning because they sell it & can’t wait to have it at home.
Pez Cantina gets 4 stars! It's like a tasty party for your taste buds. The place has a cool vibe – colorful and lively. The food menu has lots of good options, like fajitas and burritos that are really good. The guacamole is really creamy, and the salsa has a nice kick.
The staff is nice and helps you pick the best stuff. They know their food and drinks. The only downside is the wait time – not super fast, but not too slow either. Once the food comes, though, you'll forget about the wait.
In short, Pez Cantina is a solid 4-star spot. Good flavors, fun atmosphere, and you'll leave with a happy belly.
Excellent seafood and drinks. There is something for all on the menu in a broad price range, from $6 tacos to $35 main dishes. Their shrimp cocktail is delectable.
It is also a nice place for corporate dinners. The terrace is perfect for large parties.
Came for a birthday dinner; table for 12.
The restaurant handled the large party with a few hiccups. All of the food didn’t reach the table at the same time—suggested an issue with dish firing in the kitchen.
Highlights:
⭐️salsa flight was INCREDIBLE!!!
⭐️ whole fish (branzino) was DELICIOUS
⭐️ octopus was yummy (or so I was told!)
The drinks were balanced and strong. I had a whiskey drink and that was standard but the margaritas and mojitos were divine!
As a DMV native, the fare didn’t standout to me in comparison to places I’ve tried. I would return for drinks!!!
First things first, Armando, our server, was so sweet. He was new, but it wasn't overly obvious.
The MAJOR bummer, the entree was disappointing 😞. The appetizer of chips, guac, and house salsa (which we didn't realize was $14 until the check came...not a problem, but surprised)
was sooooooo good!!! We should have stopped there.
The food was presented beautifully. And to be fair, the ube waffles and the hibiscus margarita were yummy...but that was it. The salmon Benedict was VERY salty and the chicken from the chicken and waffles, was meh. It was soooo terribly disappointing.
We wanted the entrees to be as good or better than everything else and for $100+, it should have been. Unfortunately, don't think we'll ever go back. 😕 Maybe for the chips, guac, and house salsa?!?! 🤷🏾♀️
