If you want some comfort food, free corkage for your BYOB wine, you’ll be in the perfect place. We live in DTLA and this is the best place to go. It’s a bit quirky when you enter, but just wait till you eat their calamari steak appetizer! You’ll be as hooked as us! Bravo, Calori! ✨❤️✨

A great little place with tasty food, friendly servers and the opportunity to bring your own beer and wine with no additional charge. A winner!

The seafood stew is still one of the holy grail food items available in LA. Two can easily split it. I brought a bottle of wine from Lou's that was Sicilian and fit perfectly. Even got the owner to have some. Miss the Gary Leonard pix, but the meal was stellar.

We've been going to Colori at least twice a month for about four years . We love it! The food is fresh and delicious, the pastas hand made. The calamari steak appetizer is a must try! We've tried 90% of the menu and it's all good. It's home made comfort food! The service staff is friendly and personable. Good prices too.

Interesting location. Good food. Just get some good AC. I was roasting in that place. Almost too uncomfortable.

Live nearby and searched for Italian places on Google Maps. It looked a little hole-in-the-wall from the pics there but 1. It was super easy to find. 2. There's some parking. And 3. It is absolutely homey, quaint, and cozy! It felt very warm (the vibe, not the temperature) We got there right as they opened for dinner. Got to meet the owner and his son and they made us feel like guests in their home. EVERYTHING was delicious. And the portion sizes were just perfect. The free bread was fresh and warm. My dad and I ate through 2 baskets within 5 minutes. We got the Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti Aglio & Olio both with added chicken. They tasted divine. We couldn't resist ordering dessert. The Tiramisu was good but the Flan was absolutely 'perfecto,' as my dad said. The staff were all very polite and customer service was top notch. The owner and his son made sure to chat with all the tables and really seemed to care for their guests. Overall, absolutely blew my expectations out of the water and I will definitely be back!

Great neighborhood spot - we live nearby and like to come here for a cozy meal. They have a simple beverage menu with a few affordable and mass-appealing bottles of wine available. For a meal for 2 people including 1 appetizer, 1 salad, 2 entrees, and a bottle of wine, our bill came in just under $100 (before tip). Everything was delicious. We saw positive reviews of the sausage appetizer, and it didn't disappoint. The server mentioned that the pumpkin ravioli would be sweet, and she was NOT exaggerating. I ate all of the ravioli, but did leave wishing I had something more savory - it was almost like a dessert. I went in thinking I would get cannolis for dessert, but there was no need after the ravioli. Last time we were here, I had the mushroom risotto, which I found to be more balanced.

I first tried Colori it 2019 and I've been a loyal customer since. I even followed them to their new location in Harvard Heights. The neighborhood is super safe and calm. There's a parking lot next door in the plaza that you can also park in. I prefer their new location because it feels more homey and the parking situation makes it easier! Their food is authentic like no other, it reminds me of food straight from Italy. You can tell the owners put their all into their food. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!!

I found this place randomly on the internet. Italy is one of my favorite places and I was craving authentic Italian food. We were met and greeted by a very nice gentleman who could not have been any nicer. He welcomed us with a genuine smile and I knew that my experience would exceed my expectations. Raphael was our server. He was knowledgeable about the menu and equally as friendly as the first man. It was a Friday night around 830. It's a small restaurant but size didn't matter in this case. It was cozy and very reminiscent of the restaurants in Italy. The food was very authentic. Simple common dishes made very well. We couldn't stop eating the bread and they never stopped bringing it to us. The gentleman continued to cook and come check in on us. We later found that he was the owner. He made sure to make everybody present feel special and wanted on top of making the best food I've had in a long time. I can't wait to go back and you should too.

Delicious home style Italian food. I had the bolognaise. It was delicious. My friend had a very large lasagna. He enjoyed it as well. The calamari steak appetizer was also different and good. The service was prompted and efficient. All in all a good experience. We returned in March 2018 and I'm happy to say that the quality is still excellent.

Some of the reviews here say the pesto spaghetti is good. It's not just good, it's DIVINE. The best texture, creamy and rich and full of basil flavour. Sauce to pasta ratio is insane. Get it - and do yourself a favour and get the lasagna too, and the bolognese. We didn't get a chance to try the cioppino, but next time for sure. We also had the calamari special, with a delicious smoky flavour that was to die for. Overall one of the best Italian restaurants in LA for sure, and low-key as well.

Came here on a Saturday night with friends. Would recommend getting a reservation cause the place is on the smaller side. Had the Spaghetti with pesto + chicken topped with cheese. The prices are reasonable and the food was good. Servers were friendly and attentive with our needs and water refills.

Service was attentive and the food was delicious. I had the spaghetti al salsa rosa and chocolate mousse for dessert. Great comfort food in the heart of downtown LA.
