Sushi Sasabune - Los Angeles - Photo album

Good fresh sushi and wide selection. Good appetizers in the Japanese course but amounts not consistent every-time I go. Wish they would change the menu sometimes but course never disappoints.
The lunch omikase served was: Albacore sashimi; sushi bf, bf Toro, halibut, red snapper; oyster, mushroom scallop, mussel; sushi salmon, yellowtail, Bonito, scallop; amberjack, albacore, butterfish; crab handroll. I particularly like the salmon, both bluefin, amberjack, Bonito sushis and the albacor
This is by far the friendliest and most delicious sushi on the Westside of Los Angeles. They are careful in their choice of fish, and as honest as the day is long. I have never had a more delicious scrumptious bite of fish…and we dine out every night!
What an amazing traditional Japanese sushi experience! I love it and they have lunch specials which provide a great deal too! The waitresses are friendly and helpful and the omakase is delicious! They will even tailor it to your appetite! If you're full, they'll adjust the price. There is parking in
Got here at 6pm on Wednesday and happen to beat the dinner rush at started at 630! Love that they don’t do the normal rolls and tell you about each piece when delivered. Also they recommend if you should do soy on a piece or not, which was new for me. Really makes it an elevated experience.
Sooooo good. Everything tasted so fresh on warm rice you can't go wrong. If you like overly sauced up rolls this is not your place. And don't think about ordering a California Roll or Spicy Tuba they even have a sign that they don't serve it! This is your place for fresh sashimi and nigiri.
This place is the best Sushi I have had. They tell you they don't have bento boxes etc because they focus completely on the Sushi. It is a little pricey but not substantially more than places that don't compare to it's quality. I look forward to coming again.
Great omakase at an good price. You don’t get the most authentic ambiance, but you trade it for the most authentic taste, with several Japanese varieties on offer. If great sushi is what you crave, look no further.
This place was very good. The sushi was fresh and the service was great. They caution you when seating that they are a traditional sushi restaurant so they don’t sell rolls, they even have a sign in the front letting you know.
Literally the best sushi I have ever had in my life. Been going here once a week for years and it never disappoints.
I love ordering a la carte nigiri sushi here - it's always so fresh and we'll made. The toro and kanpachi are particular standouts to me.
Traditional japanese sushi. Very good quality. Service was a bit slow during lunch time but friendly.
The sushi melts in your mouth, rice cooked perfectly. Try the chef’s speciality menu. Fabulous! Will definitely be back again!
Beautiful place with delicious, fresh sushi. I absolutely love each choices brought and our service is impeccable! I will be back :)
Hands down, best bang for buck authentic sushi. Highly recommended. They even made my wife a cute origami with the chopsticks wrapper. Lovely team of workers and management and delicious food. ❤️
Outside of Japan, this is the best sushi I have ever eaten. The Chef is a true culinary artist. Once you eat here, you will never eat sushi anywhere else in this city again. The experience is unforgettable.
We went for my birthday dinner. I wanted to have amazing sushi for my birthday and I wasn’t disappointed. The only bad thing I would say is that it’s a bit over priced the bill for two of us was over $300. Oh and the parking... they don’t have any so you have to street park
