I highly recommend this place to sushi lovers and first time sushi eaters. Don't be discouraged if there is a line. The wait goes fast, much less than estimated time given. I have yet to taste a dish I didn't like. Tasty food and large portions!
By far the BEST sushi I’ve ever had! The sashimi and house salad were to die for and so FRESH. Amazing service and awesome staff. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar, the sushi chefs are fun to chat with.
Wow just left and can’t wait to be back and try more!!
Had the salmon & salmon belly nigiri, w dragon roll, and crab hand roll - all were delicious. The staff was also amazing & true artists!
Expensive place, but the quality of the fish is amazing.
We ordered the fatty tuna, sashimi platter, and crispy rice. All of the food was great and while it all doesn't look like a lot it filled us up! (2 people)
always love sushi and this place is gooood. Sushi are fresh and tasty...BUT of course it comes with an expensive price. We didnt order alot but it was still a good quick fix for my sushi crave!
Expensive but what can you really do being in Little Tokyo. Staff was very accommodating to larger parties. The sushi was tasty and fresh. We got 4 separate lemon rolls in our large order, always a good go-to refresher.
The Toro Ponzu sashimi just melted in your mouth. Prepared minimally so you could just savor the taste of the tuna. And the AC Milan roll was just a wonderful bite, lobster, eel sauce and chili oil was a fantastic combination. Just a terrific dining experience
Overall: 4.6/5 (dine in)
The guy working the front is phenomenal! He wears multiple hats, is fluent in Japanese, efficient, & kind. When you are heading to your seat, the guy will announce something in Japanese then the whole staff welcomes you. We chose to sit at the sushi bar which was a great experience. We watched the chefs work and make our food. It was like an art. They put a lot of attention into each fish. The only downside is that they don't provide parking validation for the Japanese Village parking garage.
Special Hand Roll ($34.80): This was good but not worth it.
Assorted Sashimi ($38.80): Two pieces of 6 different type of fishes. The fifth one was my favorite then the fourth one. They tell you the order in which to eat which generally goes from "least good" to "great".
Cherry Blossom ($25.80): They gave the longest roll I've ever seen and the size of each piece was pretty decent. This one was really fresh and better than the Crunchy Vegas. The roll has no rice so it's easier to fall apart though.
Crunchy Vegas ($21.80): This was a pretty basic roll and lacking a bit of flavor.
Although this place is good, the quality isn't high enough to justify the price.
Seriously the cutest place with the best food. The staff was incredible and were able to get us seats at the chefs table 20 minutes before they opened. The whole staff can’t be beat, they were all incredibly nice and helpful. My boyfriend got the tasting menu. He said he liked being able to try everything but if he were to come again he would order a couple of his favorites. The way they specifically make their sushi is incredible to watch. They have a vegan tasting menu but I was happy pigging out on the garlic edamame (yes, you have to try it). Definitely worth eating here if you can.
Dined here last night w my daughter and just loved it. Food was amazing and the people who work here are so kind and talented. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
The sashimi was very flavorful, the hand rolls however were a little soggy but the sashimi was very high quality, we had the assorted sashimi and the Enya chiryashi bowl.
Recommended by our hotel which was just opposite here.
Had various sashimi, sushi, handroll etc.
Food is fresh and service was quick.
It was pretty crowded at dinner time but the wait was not long.
