Visiting our son in LA and staying in West Hollywood. Happened on happy hour last night and loved their spicy pork belly, tuna poke and salmon carpaccio. Great prices! So we went back again tonight and totally enjoyed the same plus the garlic noodles. Forgot about the happy hour price for a dozen oysters $18.00. Amanda was the best server ever! Remembered us from the night before and was 100% better than our server the previous night. Definitely do happy hour. I’d love to go back for the “whole fish” experience next visit to LA Thanks Amanda!

This place is a must! Brussels sprouts, pork belly, and raw halibut were the highlights! Legit farm to table, craft cocktails and superior service! Venture south and please open a restaurant in North OC. Anaheim Hills needs you!

I had a fantastic dining experience at C.O.D Seafood House & Raw Bar. The sea bass was an absolute delight, bursting with flavor. The assorted seafood dish was a true treat, and the clam chowder was top-notch. Our waiter's friendly and attentive service truly enhanced our visit. Despite the abundance of empty tables, the quality of the food and service is deserving of a larger crowd. Definitely a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts!

FOOD: All the dishes are flavorful from the salmon carpaccio, pork belly, and grilled octopus all of them are unique, just one recommendation DON'T order everything in one because they will send everything together I wish they can do a pause or courses. When that comes to service, to be honest our server she seems so distracted and lost. I mean we need to tell her a couples of times about our drinks order she kept forgetting. Then she got distracted with a baby that she forgot about us and didn't even come up and check on us how everything was. Until you have eye contact with her and she will check on you However, One of the things that I love it's that they are dog friendly.

COD is one of my favorite Asian-inspired seafood places. The Lavender Mule is smooth and refreshing I love it with tequila instead of vodka which you can substitute with no additional charge. The Spicy Tuna Rice has the perfect amount of heat & crunchiness - it’s soooooo good and with only 4 you might end up fighting over them. The Crispy Walnut Shrimp is actually some of my favorite in LA I love how freshly they prepare it - it never disappoints me & I order it every time I come. The Chicken Garlic Noodles aren’t overpowered with garlic & the Parmesan adds a nice saltiness to the noodles - I love them. The Shrimp Fried Rice was delicious as well as the Crispy Garlic Brussels sprouts for a side vegetable. The customer service was excellent and I loved the scenery/atmosphere sitting on the upper level - can’t wait to come back excellent late date night spot!

Food: 7.9/10 Members in my party did not enjoy the stir fry as there were substantially more veggies than shrimp. I ordered 3 different types of fried shrimp and all 3 were solid. My friend's sushi roll was enjoyable as far as I can tell and a member of my party also really enjoyed her chicken Lo mein. Soda was expensive and nonrefillable. Ambience: 9/10 Really well furnished with an ADA accessible upper deck and dining level. Tasteful decorations elevated the Bar area and candles on each table made the dining experience feel special. Service: 7/10 Typical for the area and price point. Nothing bad but nothing to set itself apart from the rest. Waited ~15 minutes for my table after making a reservation. Value for money: 5/10 Left this restaurant feeling hungry after spending nearly 40 dollars. If you're driving, which many of you probably will, there is a Valet that only accepts cash for $16 dollars. Cake cutting fee of 3 dollars per guest. Would I come again? Maybe. Just maybe...

All the food—on point. Sea bass, tender to the fork, falls apart in your mouth. Grilled octopus, cooked to perfect texture (and great beans). But this is my own personal opinion, i find it hard to give 5 stars for fine Asian dining. For Asian food, I either want super experimental, completely out-of-this-world dining experience, or something very homey, warm and unassuming. That weird grey area in the middle where it’s neither too novel nor traditional doesn’t attract me, but I’m sure plenty would disagree.

COD was our favorite restaurant while in LA! I would say it’s Asian-Fusion. We ordered several items which were so delicious, fresh and plentiful! And the waitress was very nice, funny and she did everything. She served the food, mixed the drinks and did everything.

Miso soup was a smart choice. Shrimp wontons were a great mix of crunchy and chewy. Raw scallops in the sweet sauce were like a delicious candy. Uni pasta had great texture. I list a 4 because they didn’t have the drink I wanted and something about the blue crab roll wasn’t thrilling.

I have to say, this meal was very satisfying. The Seafood is fresh. I think my favorite aspect of this place is that they have two completely different dining settings. When you're out with some friends and trying to have a good time you can be in a more high energy setting downstairs with lots of people and louder music. But if that's not quite your scene, you can move upstairs to a much more chilled out outdoor patio where it's quieter and a little more intimate. The decor is really cool too, the black and metal furniture makes everything feel new and sleek.

Words are inadequate in conveying those fantastic gourmet experiences. First, I would say that the Roasted Peking Dust Breast is the best duck breast on the planet!! Each time you slice it you witness the juice incessantly stream out of the meat. Its crisp skin can rival any of the most authentic Peking duck back in China - while traditional Peking duck serves with little mear, which usually is dry. It is a pity that this course is not in the regular menu - I just wonder who made it and how? If everything else tasted terribly horrible, I would still be more than happy to pay for this dine L.A. dinner solely in virtue of the duck breast. But of course, everything else was equally amazing. The Truffle Uni Pasta left me in awe. The Scallop Carpaccio and oysters (happy hour 5-7pm) here also worth a try. Finally, the desserts - Chocolate Lava Cake and Green Tea Cream Brulee - were unexpectedly addictive. Whether it was due to the laggard service, the reasonable portion of the food, or the extraordinary tastiness of the food (which is the most likely), we finished everything. I'm already looking forward to the next dine L.A. week. Lucky ones should seize the tail of this week and try their dinner set. P.S. They have $10 valet parking, which is really nice to us poor LA residents.

I just moved to the area and still unpacking decided to order dinner. I ordered spicy tuna crispy rice, orange chicken and garlic noodle w veggies! Everything was delicious! Especially the tuna crispy rice! The portions were generous and the flavor was spot on! The garlic noodles could use less oil but so yummy!!!
