That was by far the best patty melt EVER!!!
Our waiter wasn't overly friendly but provided good service.
The Luke's Lemonade was refreshing
I was debating on ordering the pub burger or fish tacos....but then he told us the specials for the day & I figured I'd try the patty melt. Wow! That was a great choice! Grilled rye bread, gruyere cheese, caramelized onions & the beef was amazing! I can't say enough good things about that melt! Every bite was so tasty, the burger was cooked just as ordered & so juicy.
We had a great view of our order being prepared, it was fascinating. The chef was not rushed, taking his time, I had such a relaxing & fun time here. We watched as he sliced the gruyere cheese off the block & sliced a chunk of blue cheese off a block too. It was neat to see that it wasn't pre-sliced & that the blue cheese didn't come from a crumble cheese tub.

On my quest for new flavors, I craved for seafood one night, and after struggling with parking, I finally reached this joint. Our server was not over-friendly, but then, he made a couple of good suggestions for our order, including to avoid ordering too much. Later, they kept visiting the table and taking away whatever plates and trash that were on our way. The food was quite original and well-presented. You could see a strong influence from South-western and latin-american cuisines. Keep in mind it's pricey. For a party of 2 with no drinks, we ended up with a check of nearly $100. However you do not end up feeling ripped-up, like in some other places. Good flavor and good service.

Very, very slow service. Don't come here hungry. We were seated quickly, but it took 10 minutes to get a drink order taken after I flagged down a busboy and asked him to get someone. It wasn't crowded. They charge extra for bread and only bring 4 pieces. Ordered lemonade and received 3 oz and a glass full of ice. When I asked for more, the waiter said it was perfectly measured and would be an additional charge. I told him to talk to the manager about my glass full of ice. Our main dishes took 35 min, but were at least very good. We had the grilled filet and scallop pot pie. The proportions were very good and they were both delicious. But, not planning on returning.

Well this place had good reiviews, so we decided to check it out. We were helped by some woman and a server, but their communication was lacking. She had told our waiter that we wanted the steamed platter when we wanted the cold one. Good thing he double checked.
The oysters and clams weren't always separated from the shell, it was a 50/50. The side of bread that we paid for was burnt and hard. And didn't have much flavor...thinking back not much of anything had any real flavor.
Going back to the lady that helped us who wasn't our server. She would constantly try and upsell us. There were a couple times that we were trying to order and she would barrel on trying to get us to buy things, while we waited to tell her want we wanted.
Probably shouldnt come here unless a spending $70 for a medicore experience is your thing. K bai

A good brunch spot close to Pantages for those looking to eat before a show. It is a seafood place so it did have a little bit of a fish smell but overall, we all enjoyed the taste of our food.

Crab legs were good. But you do not get anything else with them for the high price. My amount seemed skimped on compared to the other person in the party. I have had 1/2 pound before elsewhere(for less money) and it was more than I got this time.
The outside patio is great and dessert was great. But crab legs too expensive for what you get.

I went here one night based on the new/hot Yelp listing when it was me and only me. I love Italian, and seafood, so it seemed a can't miss. It didn't!! I had the chowder and the risotto - both excellent. Came to realize it's owned by the folks who own Sotto Mare - makes sense - food is similarly excellent! Enjoyed it very much and service was excellent.
