After months driving past this place I finally stopped by. Parking is not that great but worth parking anywhere. I got me 6 tacos. 2 de asada, 2 de buche, y 2 al pastor. Asada a little dry but all else was delicious. Especially what they are known for. Pastor was beyond delicious. Next visit its all al pastor. Ok at least buche too. Worth the anticipation. The large crowd looks like a long wait but they are very fast getting your order out.
Seen about this place on Facebook,we are from Texas and were in LA for a day and the wife and I had to see what the fuss was all about. Highly recommend, even brought four dozen back to Texas.
Leo's Tacos Truck came up as one of the most recommended late night tacos spot and we decided to drive there after a wonderful day exploring Downtown LA. The truck is located on the corner of a busy avenue, next to a gas station. There were plenty of parking spots when we arrived but the place got busier pretty soon after 10pm
You will be greeted with the aroma of the slow roasted pork that is setup right next to the ordering counter. How can you then not order an Al Pastor taco?! We ordered a total of 6 tacos for close to $15. They came with the usual salsa and condiments on the side. We finished the delicious tacos in under 5 minutes. Incredible! New York has got nothing over LA when it comes to Mexican food.
Al Pastor is a must when you stop here for a quick bite!
This is hands down my favorite taco truck! I usually wouldn’t eat from a gas station but this place is great. I have been coming here for years whenever I’m in LA. Bring cash or stop in the gas station for their ATM. I usually get 6-8 tacos at a time. I love their salsas. You won’t regret it.
The food is extremely flavorful and inexpensive. This is my go-to when you're out late night and have the late night munchies!!! It tends to get packed, but the lines move very quickly. The tacos, burritos, multitasking, quesadillas, their salsas, their drinks are all top tier. You will definitely be coming back, time and time again. I guarantee it!!!
I saw this place as one of the must try Taco places in LA and drove down there just to try it. I think I tried all the meat options with my fav being the Al Pastor Taco. My son loved the tacos as well and was fighting me for the tacos. Definitely a must try!!
The best tacos in town !
Just be aware of the line, and the cashier was pretty rude but it’s fine as long as we got a really good food tho! 😂
Leo’s Tacos definitely lives up to all of the hype! The al pastor tacos are the best!! They’re super juicy and they are generous with the portions of meat.
The best Al Pastor taco in LA — and I will fight anyone who says otherwise! LOL They add small chunks of grilled pineapple and it adds so much depth and vibrance to the Al Pastor. I go to Leo’s at least once a week and typically order Al Pastor, Cabeza, and Assada tacos. My S/O orders random stuff like Alambres or Nachos, they’re good too.
Food: great
Atmosphere: super-extra casual
Service: great
Payment: cash-only 💵
Amazing food!!! I think they are famous for the el pastor tacos but everything we had was delicious. The nachos are 🔥🔥🔥!
Great tacos and burritos and I love the price. They take cash only btw. However, the place is not safe because there are too many homeless and weird people around the gas station which is where the taco truck parked. Good thing is that it's quick so you don't have to be there long. would recommend to people who love street foods and Mexican foods, and don't wanna spend too much money.
Easy to park since it is in a gas station and there are many parking spots.
No frills taco truck cranking out great Al pastor tacos
Found this place 8 years ago and come back every time I fly in from Australia
