Tried this place with a group for the first time last Saturday and everyone in the group was extremely satisfied! We all got pasta and loved our dishes and even some good gluten free pastas(not all dishes available gluten free, but most pastas are). My short rib ravioli with white sauce was fantastic, and adding a picture of it to show how it looks

Overall a good experience. I would recommend checking it out at least once. The Rib Eye Cap was our favorite dish. The cacio e pepe was just ok. Wouldn’t recommend the Hamachi Crudo if you are into a traditional version. Wine is eh… kinda over priced for the selection. If you dine upstairs be mindful it’s got an indoor/outdoor vibe within a fireplace but NGL it was hot af up there 🤷🏼♂️. The servings are on the smaller side with less starches/carbs and more veggies. TBH the veggie selection/usage is was nice if you are more keen to veggies.

Good, but not great Italian restaurant. The food is tasty, but isn't quite traditional (ie there shouldn't be cream in the cacio e pepe recipe, the ragù was too sweet). The staff is very friendly and the place modern and well decorated (loved the helmets!).

Had lunch here and was absolutely blown away with how delicious it was! Pictured is the short rib ravioli, bolognese, and the brown butter and sage tagliatelle. Extremely fresh and the flavors were phenomenal. The two favorites in particular was the short rib ravioli and the bolognese. 10/10! Highly recommend!!!

I had the most fantastic dining experience at this Italian restaurant! The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well-cared for. The food was out of this world; the pasta was perfectly al dente, and the flavors were exquisite. The ambiance was romantic and cozy, making it an ideal spot for a date night. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

The food was great. Me and my date can be picky at times. It was a nice relaxed environment. The drinks hit well for a nice buzz. And the customer service was top tier. I would recommend this for a nice dinner date or lunch with friends.

This is a place where you would hardly notice from passing by Melrose ave everyday. However! Once you set your foot into the restaurant, it is a whole new atmosphere. Buca means little corner, it provides a home town feeling. You can call it hipster if you want, but it really is a comfortable place for a fine meal with really reasonable price, I mean REALLY.
The ingredients that goes into the dish are prepare fresh everyday, best part is farm to table! Can't beat a freshly harvest ingredients.
I really like how you are getting serve here, all their servers are really friendly.
The food! Finally... it's so good. You can really taste the individual ingredients that went into the dish. No crazy complicated dish. Just simple straight forward, no bs.
Totally my type of food, "simple food, big flavor."

My first time in it was great. We didn't have a reservation and the wait time was an hour but we were still accommodated at a little bar area with stools. Service was still impeccable. I usually never know what to order or trust at a new place... honestly I'm quite an annoying needy customer. The type that says which do you like more? But our server was very knowlegable about the menu and voluntarily gave me all the info I needed on everything we asked about. The food was delicious. The pasta is quite thick it is house made. The drink list is long! Enjoy!

A bit too loud due to
Old sciatica and typical loud eaters and bar people hard to have a conversation but food is amazing albeit not too healthy it is yummy. I like carbs but it was a bit too much carb laden and veggies were just not so super healthy , seldom do I have issue digesting food but it was a bit too unhealthy for me as I am more of a super organic and vegetable based diet.

It’s was our last evening in California and we’re wanting Italian food. It was a Friday night and hadn’t made any reservations. I explained to the woman who answered the phone our situation and was very sweet and assured me not to worry about a thing. We got seated almost immediately. Everyone was super sweet and then we met Tamara J, she was so nice & when she shared how the pasta was made fresh along with that amazing bread rosemary bread daily well I could not wait. OMG 👌🏼Delicious!!! The pasta the sauce, both dinners were outstanding I wish I could order some right now. I highly recommend and will definitely eat there again, 10 ⭐️ is what I give the whole restaurant
