Nick's Cafe - Los Angeles - Photo album

Nick’s Cafe near Chinatown and Union Station left an indelible impression, especially with their French toast. From the moment the plate arrived, the aroma of warm, cinnamon-infused goodness enveloped the table. The French toast itself was a culinary masterpiece — golden-brown perfection on the outs

Nick's Cafe in LA was highly recommended and didn't disappoint. They seem to know what they're doing for 75 years! Their "signature" Ham & Eggs is a standout with fresh homemade hash browns. I try to never order greasy, frozen tasteless hash browns but these were neither.
Fantastic place! Proper local diner. Good food, efficient and professional service. I get what some say about the coffee but it wasn't too terrible. Excellent value for money. Properly set me up for the day.
Came here for breakfast around 9AM , we had a little wait , but def worth it because the food was really good. I ordered Nicks Sandwich and corn beef hash and eggs - everything was 10/10 If you’re ok with the wait ; this place is worth it.
The service was amazing, the waiter (didn’t get her name) had great energy and was extremely helpful. I ordered the French Toast with scrambled eggs and ham (it was delicious) My mother ordered the chilaquiles and nope to be honest they were flavorless! The coffee would have been perfect is paired w
The food was amazing! I couldn’t even eat it all the portion was very large. I will definitely visit again.
Drove all the way from Albuquerque, NM. Local is the only way to eat when you travel. This diner was amazing. The food is great, and the service is even better! I'm glad we came here.
Nicks was a great breakfast choice! We got the Cali scramble with chorizo and the meat lover skillet. Fresh coffee, fresh ingredients, and great service. Small local spot, here since 1948 and I see why they’ve been around for so long. 10/10 would come back to try the lunch menu
4.7 The French toast was fantastic, filling, and is going on our list as a family fave. We questioned it at first because it looked like slices of French bread, which we weren’t used to, but it was absolutely delicious. The strips of bacon on the side were so huge and perfectly crisply that they’ve
I stumbled by this place while driving through DTLA. Small place that packs a punch in high quality and taste in good quality prepared food. I had what could be described BEST HOME MADE CORNED BEEF HASH AND EGGS in Los Angeles County. The only inside dining in this tiny place is a U counter wrapped
Incredible diner; this spot is a must. Randomly walked in, was greeted by staff that felt sincere and genuine. Sat at the counter and has everything you wish a diner would. Had the California Scramble you get to choose a meat with the scramble; and I picked chorizo because based off all the pig deco
First time here for my wife and I. We shared the Big Country Plate & Cinnamon French Toast. The food is on point, and the portions are big. The service is welcoming and attentive. Nice, nostalgic atmosphere, too. We will definitely be coming back. What a gem!

This diner has its own charm about it, definitely transporting you back in time. They have fun decorations including lots of pigs and photos of before and after of Los Angeles. Service was friendly and food didn't take too long to come out. We got the Huoves Rancheros and it did not disappoint. It
Nick's Cafe is a great place for breakfast, that's what I know it for. It's another historical restaurant in L.A. that has been there since the 40's. It's still set up the way it was back then, a U shaped counter which I believe only seats approximately twenty people. The good thing is that they hav
Best breakfast so far while visiting LA from South Florida! Old school and delicious! Staff is incredibly friendly, and our waitress Kim is one cool chic. Highly recommend!!
It was very good, delicious in fact. I believe they used very fresh ingredients and not really processed food. The reason I say this is because the portion size was pretty large yet we were still able to finish everything. Other places we'll only be able to eat about half and pack the rest to go. We
