Oomasa - Los Angeles - Photo album

One of my fav sushi spots in Little Tokyo. The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious 😋 and the service is nice. Really like the nigiri sets, chirashi, and soft shell crab. Usually there isn't a long wait. ❤️
I stumbled upon this place while I was filming the Japanese Village Plaza for a downtown walking tour video. I’m so glad I went inside to grab a bite to eat. The sushi is incredible. Pictured here is the Spicy Tuna Roll - hands down the best I’ve ever had! On top of that, the service is outstanding
We were out and about sight seeing and wanted to try something new. Came across this little restaurant and there wasn't much of a wait so we got seated pretty quick. The waiter was very nice and was very prompt. We both tried the first two entrees on the menu and they both were very good. You get a
OOmasa is a hidden treasure! The service was exceptional, with the staff making us feel like honored guests. The food was nothing short of extraordinary – each bite was a revelation of Japanese culinary artistry. The ambiance was calming and authentic, transporting me to Japan with its decor and soo
I have been coming here since I was a child. It is one of the only original sushi places still in the Tokyo plaza. If I would have wrote this three years ago it would have been 5 stars. I feel that the menu was downsized to keep up with the many tourist. I don’t blame the business for this, you have
The Customer service was superb, and the waiting list wasn’t bad at all for a Sunday. I believe we waited 10 minutes max, definitely recommend this place. And the outdoor dining is great!
Good portion and fast. Everything was tasty. staff was friendly too
I've been coming to Oomasa for the last few years and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious and the service super special. Emmie as well as the other employees, always remember us and provide the best service, coming over to our table to say hello. They are very accommodating w
Everyone was so kind, especially the servers. They even gave me a box to put my backpack in. Super authentic.
An excellent place to get some delicious sushi and sashimi! The combination meals are a great value for sure. Friendly staff, fast service, and the price is just right!
We enjoyed eating here. Our server Cirilo was great. We got tonkatsu and sashimi combo, and nigiri sushi A. We ordered asahi draft and hot green tea to drink. Our hot green tea was constantly refilled. After finishing the nigiri, we decided to order more nigiri. We got yellow tail, ikura, tamago, a
Good sashimi and sushi. Waiters are friendly. Restroom is clean. The dining area is quite comfortable and equips with hand sanitizer on each table.
Love love love this place. With COVID still around and travel restrictions still in place, my girlfriend and I looked to California for vacation. We wanted to check out Japanese Village for a taste of our Japan vacation two years ago. I must say, this please did not let us down. Would come again if
The interior is stunning, lots of elegant woodwork throughout. Come early or there’s a wait, but it’s worth it.
I like oomasa, very consistent Japanese staples. I had the beef udon noodles and my partner had the traditional sushi tempura bento box. Free parking too.
The tonkatsu and salmon belly nigiri I ordered we're delicious. The men who make the sushi are really nice too. The only downside is the service was slow (to be seated, to order, and to get the check).
