The Little Jewel Of New Orleans - Los Angeles - Photo album

Got takeout prior to watching an opera at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and ordered online for pickup. We got a muffuletta as well as the seafood platter to split among four of us. The muffuletta was very heavy on the bread and not so much on the meat. I enjoyed the seafood platter more, which came
First time ever having food from here. It's unique with a store and restaurant making it easy to find what you want while having great food. There's parking on the side. I will return whenever I travel Bank to LA
Had a wonderful experience here! Enjoyed the shop aspect (on the side), with authentic Louisiana hush puppy batter, craft beer, cafe du monde coffee, hot sauces etc. The food was bomb, just how you’d expect at a Po’ boy place in NOLA. I got the oyster fish (fried oysters, catfish) and my date got t
this was the most satisfying meal of all time. please do yourself a favor and go here. also i really loved the beignets. got a mixed seafood platter and the catfish platter as well - generous portions done quick!
I am so glad I went to The Little Jewel! My group got the catflish platter, mixed seafood platter, a side of fried okra, and beignets. All of which was so tasty! The fish was very tender, okra fried perfectly, and beignets a perfect way to round out the meal. I'm glad there's a place nearby where I
Talk about a true jewel.. more like gem. This place does creole food right and I mean right. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The must get items for first time people are the shrimp po boy, a side whether it’s zucchini sticks or mozzarella sticks, and a delicious drink. This place is
I love this place! Why does it not have more reviews!? I got the shrimp Po boy, and the gumbo, both of which were delicious and excellent. I will come back.
I very, very rarely leave reviews, but this restaurant is insane! The customer service is fantastic, food was made fast, and that was the best Po-Boy I have ever had. I got the Cajun Pulled Pork. I have left now a grand total of 3 reviews, and this place has one. 100% worth any cost!
Craw Mac Deluxe - crawfish, shrimp, andouille sausage w/ side of corn bread / 5 🌟! I have know about Little Jewel for a long time now. I go once or twice a year. The owner/chef is often there and he is a boisterous and fun character who clearly cares about his guests. I have had many po boys here
Delicious place true to its Cajun name. It really does taste like food from Louisiana, is well priced, and has a great interior vibe. Got the craw-mac deluxe (shrimp and sausage), and it came out hot and delicious! Lots of options to choose from.
The establishment is kinda old. We tried the oyster poboy, hot sausage poboy, shrimp, half/half poboy and seafood platter. The food had a kick to it. Everyone loved their poboys. The seafood platter was just ok. Beignets were dense and average. Overall pretty good food and good service.
Good Cajun food with a big choice, tasty catfish to shrimp & oyster poboys, chicory coffee, etc. All tasted was good. It's good to enjoy good New Orleans style food far away in LA, far away from Louisiana.
Love this place, I go to New Orleans once or twice a year and this place is legit and a heck of a lot closer. Seems to always be expanding too, I imagine will be a good place to watch football in the fall. Gumbo is delicious and I generally go with the daily specials, which they seem to mix up qui
I had the blackened shrimp po'boy with a crown. This was a giant sandwich filled to the brim with spicy sautéed shrimp. This was absolutely hands down the best po'boy I've ever eaten. This sandwich was so large I saved half for dinner the next day.
Really really food can be found here. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly. The vibe is chill. This is a hidden gem of downtown
I had three hours to kill, before making my connection for home, so I looked on Yelp! and I was pleased it was walking distance from Union Station. When I entered the restaurant, it reminded me of the casual Italian delicatessens in New Orleans which serve wonderful Po'boy sandwiches. I ordered th
The food is delicious and the vibes are great. We’re so glad we stumbled on this place. This is one of those spots that makes Chinatown such a special food hub.
YESS!! FINALLY a true taste of N'awlins!! This spot is legit! My first time in, and DEFINITELY NOT my last!! There goes my diet! Lol🤗 Was a little irritated that the popcorn shrimp appetizer was from a bag - would've been better had they been fresh, like the po'boy shrimp.. but overall, GREAT! Looki
