My boyfriend found this place on Yelp while looking for Mac & cheese & this place seriously hit the spot! The crawfish Mac is so tasteful and filling. The shrimp in the sandwich was also really good. The wings were habanero, I was expecting my mouth to burn buuuuut it didn't quiet get there, it has a kick to it and they're well cooked which is awesome but I eat so much spicy food it's rare for even the spiciest dish to be hot for me. I highly recommend this place because the Mac really left me satisfied! P.S there's a variety of drinks, alcoholic ones too! Complementary water! It's a little hot in there too but today's like in the 100's in L.A so that's understandable lol

Thank you, Guy Fieri, for featuring this AMAZING place on Triple D. OMG we wanted to order everything on the menu but decided on the Craw Mac, the Little Jewel Deluxe Half & Half (Mixed shrimp & oyster) & the Cochon de Lait (Cajun pulled pork) Po' Boys. Both were dressed with spicy Creole Slaw. The crayfish Mac was a meal. Velvety out of this world best ever. Both of the Po' Boys were absolutely divine. How fabulous it is to drive to China Town to step right into New Orleans. Can't wait to come back !

Got takeout prior to watching an opera at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and ordered online for pickup. We got a muffuletta as well as the seafood platter to split among four of us. The muffuletta was very heavy on the bread and not so much on the meat. I enjoyed the seafood platter more, which came with fried oysters, catfish, shrimp, and fries. They gave us remoulade, tartar sauce, and ketchup on the side. Credit cards accepted. Counter service if you dine in. Street parking. Employees were friendly.

First time ever having food from here. It's unique with a store and restaurant making it easy to find what you want while having great food. There's parking on the side. I will return whenever I travel Bank to LA

Had a wonderful experience here! Enjoyed the shop aspect (on the side), with authentic Louisiana hush puppy batter, craft beer, cafe du monde coffee, hot sauces etc. The food was bomb, just how you’d expect at a Po’ boy place in NOLA. I got the oyster fish (fried oysters, catfish) and my date got the fried shrimp po’ boy. Both were excellent; fresh bread, solid dressings, and hefty portions. Tasted great with hot sauce! All in all a great spot that I hope continues to thrive for years to come.

I am so glad I went to The Little Jewel! My group got the catflish platter, mixed seafood platter, a side of fried okra, and beignets. All of which was so tasty! The fish was very tender, okra fried perfectly, and beignets a perfect way to round out the meal. I'm glad there's a place nearby where I can get *great* Louisiana style food!

Talk about a true jewel.. more like gem. This place does creole food right and I mean right. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The must get items for first time people are the shrimp po boy, a side whether it’s zucchini sticks or mozzarella sticks, and a delicious drink. This place is an easy 5 stars for food and the service is pretty fast for how fresh it is. So good and a must

I love this place! Why does it not have more reviews!? I got the shrimp Po boy, and the gumbo, both of which were delicious and excellent. I will come back.

I very, very rarely leave reviews, but this restaurant is insane! The customer service is fantastic, food was made fast, and that was the best Po-Boy I have ever had. I got the Cajun Pulled Pork. I have left now a grand total of 3 reviews, and this place has one. 100% worth any cost!

Craw Mac Deluxe - crawfish, shrimp, andouille sausage w/ side of corn bread / 5 🌟! I have know about Little Jewel for a long time now. I go once or twice a year. The owner/chef is often there and he is a boisterous and fun character who clearly cares about his guests. I have had many po boys here but the chef turned me on to the craw mac a while ago and I often find myself thinking about it, it is that good. It has a Cajun spice to it and it is loaded with proteins. You have to order the deluxe to get the side of corn bread and I recommend it to mop up the juices. Chinatown has been home recently to some excellent culinary creative chefs but Little Jewel has been around since it transformed into a foodie zone. Check them out if you're in the area and are hankering for some Cajun cuisine.

Delicious place true to its Cajun name. It really does taste like food from Louisiana, is well priced, and has a great interior vibe. Got the craw-mac deluxe (shrimp and sausage), and it came out hot and delicious! Lots of options to choose from.
