Wasn’t in town under the best of circumstances. I made a point to go visit this establishment back in November to mourn a life lost and reflect on a life saved. The gentleman at the door was sympathetic and kind and knew who we were there for with only a first name mentioned. The staff was kind and professional. #johnnyspringbreak
The last dive bar in Venice Beach! Saw shavings on the floor, cash only, only beer and wine, pool tables, juke box, classic rock and blues bands a few times a week, stones throw or two to the beach and true bar food!

I think this is my favourite bar in the whole world. I’ve been enjoying this place for about seven years now on my annual trip to Venice. It’s cozy and welcoming in the building, the atmosphere and the people. Full of energy if you want it to be and a place to escape in your thoughts if you want that. The burgers are to die for and the beer is cold and fresh. I couldn’t love this place more
Sat outside this morning on a beautiful day before heading home to NYC. Really good western omlette served with potato hash and toast $9 50! Friendly and efficient service, my breakfast came within minutes. So good.
Incredible burgers, $22 pitchers of beer, and great people watching.
They also don’t worry about fire lanes with big groups sitting together so that’s nice.
Awesome local bar. Very reasonable prices and they serve food late. We had their steak and cheese and their world famous cheeseburger and both were great. The steak and cheese sandwich was definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had in quite some time.

Really impressed that this busy bar took my Togo order without wait, we walked the beach for a few and returned to my order ready and waiting. The burger, grilled cheese and chilli was quite excellent and inexpensive & served with pickles & peppers.. SCORE!
Spent two weeks nearly every November for years visiting here, the dive bar of choice for the discerning drinker, grab a pitcher of beer, a burger and watch the game on one of the numerous screens, fun times and great laughs. Keep up the dive 👍🏻
The best place around LA to grab a beer and burger, whether on a nice sunny day, or a warm night. There’s often a live band. Steps off the beach, sawdust floors, popcorn machine, pool tables, chill Venice crowd.
Great little rock bar right near Venice beach. Prices are pretty average compared to other bars we've been to on/near Venice beach. As mentioned, the bar has a rock theme and there was a live band playing rock n roll classics whilst we were there. When the band weren't playing there was classic rock playing through the sound system, so don't go expecting anything else. If that's your scene you'll really enjoy it. There isn't a huge amount of seating so you may end up stood.
Great local bar. Burger tastes like you are having a backyard BBQ.
