Urban Masala - Los Angeles - Photo album

If you are looking for some desi food, I recommend visiting this place. The food is tasty, not so spicy (surprisingly), their bread (naan) is baked fresh in the oven they have it and the staff is very helpful in suggesting the dishes and polite. Halal food is an added bonus if you’re looking for it
You should certainly check out this place if you're in Los Angeles! I savored every morsel of my meal. Actually, the Thal was a fantastic concept and chance to sample many foods. The restaurant's interior was nicely designed, and the staff was kind and helpful. Will I return? Absolutely!
The food- EXCELLENT. I felt like I was back in India. They made the naan and samosa fresh! My eyes popped out. Everything was delicious ( but not too spicy). The eggplant was our favorite. The number of options you could choose for your thaali was amazing. The portions were so big too. The service
Delicious food! We've ordered 3 plates with 2 entrees each and tried 6 different curries. 3 vegetarian, 1 chicken and 1 lamb entree. Guess what, every entree meets/exceeds our expectations. That's surprising to me! Also, tried 2 desserts and 1 mango lassi. Desserts: Gulab Jamun and Ras Malai are yu
First time visiting Urban Masala in Hollywood. Was a little concerned with the Chipotle style setup but was not a concern at all. Food was great and really fresh. Made our Samosas on the spot! Was fairly quick getting through the line and placing our order. Only complaint was the cashier bailed on m
I love the prison style atmosphere. No fans or air, only made worse by the piping hot food mere feet away, long cafeteria tables, and to top it all off, a giant metal tray filled to the brim with slop. If it were absolutely delicious and cheaper than a single drink from the nearby bars, I'd be upse
We have tried a few times and we like it. It is not bad and portion is good. Waiters are nice and helpful. Location wise, it is convenient but parking is nearly impossible during rush hour.
This place has fair pricing for what they offer. It is great you could come here even later night and expect to get some fresh Indian food. The layout is pretty nice and you feel like the place is clean. I would definitely recommend.
Just finished an online order from Urban. First of all I am totally spoiled from dining in La Grange Il at a gourmet Indian restaurant called Kama. The level of care there given to every dish is unparalleled. So when I moved to LA we had a very jarring experience of ordering food that was literally
The place gets a high rating for the 2 main aspects - Quantity vs Price and the Location. For Indians and Indian food this is a blessing of disguise. After 2 hop-on/hop-off finished by lunch time, we were famished and on searching with a 4 rating we found this place. My wife is a vegetarian and orde
They have amazing Indian food. If you're famished, then you should definitely try the plate option which consists of rice, two curry of your choice, garlic naan and salad.
Looking at the reviews cannot believe somebody wrote portions are small… they are really big… and the food is tasty! The naan is really great! Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Urban Marsala comes to our Office every so often via the Fooda Program and i love their Chicken Curry! i could eat 3 of them but at $10.90 (tax included), i have to be satisfied with 1 ^_^;;
Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was phenomenal. Thank you for making my experience as a tourist so awesome!
Customer service was very good. Except Briyani, other dishes were tasty
