James Beach - Los Angeles - Photo album

I love this place! Besides being on the movie 'I Love You Man' the food here is hands downs first class all the way. Mahi fish taco platter comes with three large pieces of mahi, with black beans and quac on the side. Steak and drink specials daily. Kid friendly also with a delicious Smash burger. T
Got into a Sunday brunch. Sun was shining although it was not that warm in Venice Beach that day. The place is perfect, open roof for sun to reach the eaters and warm just the right amount to be pleasant. Food was well prepared and tasty. Service is outstanding. I can recommend this place!
We had dinner here on a Friday night at 6pm. The place was empty but we were told that it was early for Venice Beach. We started with cocktails and then ordered the tacos. My wife had Fish tacos and I had Beef tacos. The we're amazing! We shared and enjoyed both. I would eat here again in a heartbea
I really, really wanted to love this place. It was good but IMO doesn't warrant all the fuss. I had calamari, and they were good but not incredible, despite premium prices. Ditto for the cocktails: Good but basic and uninspired. I'd go back for another try. On the plus side, great atmosphere.
The wife and I stopped in for dinner and had a fantastic experience. From the yummy cocktails and delicious food to the stellar service, it really couldn't have been better. Save room for some made to order chocolate souffle, but keep in mind it takes 25-30 mins.
Run, don't walk, to their happy hr. ❤️ Smash burger, vegan tacos and crispy rice tuna are what we had tonight and it was all D-LICIOUS. Generous pours and great, friendly service.
This is hands down the best place to eat by the beach in Venice. Only a few minutes walk from Muscle Beach and from the canals. It's proper - good service, white tablecloth, and great food. It's also unpretentious and not expensive for the quality and quantity served.
Went with my fiancee for the famous fish tacos & we were not disappointed ! The margaritas are amazing & our waitress was so friendly . We look forward to coming back very soon 😊 Venice boardwalk is literally right around the corner so it gives the perfect opportunity to walk off a full tummy ! Lol
Good brunch spot where you will find locals getting away from the more tourist heavy bars/restaurants. French toast goes well with a mimosa. One star penalty for the price. Prepare to pony up.
Cool atmosphere but the food was fairly bland. "I love you man" definitely exaggerated the quality of the fish tacos. I'd call them good, not great. I found it fairly expensive as well.
Casual hip location with a creative artsy vibe. Pretty good food and nice cocktails. Good for a small celebration or a date night.
Famous since "I love you, man" for its fish tacos. Which I vivdly recommend, the DIY fish tacos are amazing. Great venue, with outdoor and indoor seatings. The margaritas are really good. Services is fast.
Excellent atmosphere off the boardwalk. Light and airy. It wasn't crowded when I visited but it looked like they were ready for more. Veggie tacos were fresh and perfect for a warm day. I will return.
Some of the best fish tacos you’ll ever have in your life here. This place was made famous because of the movie I love you man. They spend an entire scene here just talking about the fish tacos. Also the cchoclate chip Cookes are homemade and to die for. 4 stars for the prices being alittle outrageo
Best 🐠 tacos. Also, where I Love You, Man was filmed. The service was very friendly and I will definitely come back next time I am in LA.
Sometimes a night club, used to be known for their burgers, now a fan of their vegan dishes and tea! Featured in several Paul Ruud movies.
Nice beach, gorgeous sand. A lot of fun! Great buys on tourist shirts etc.
Lovely ambience, good service, the fish tacos were delicious. Highly recommended.
