Nickel Diner - Los Angeles - Photo album

I came looking for the pop tarts and it seems this is the only place in LA that’s sells a homemade pop tart? It was fine, $6.5 is a lot for such a small pastry with not much filling. The menu is awesome though, so many options and everything looked great. We ordered a scramble and the special that
It’s the second time to visit and first time since Covid. We are so glad everything hasn’t changed so much even after the pandemic. The staff was super nice and sweet. The menu is still very good. We had the barbecue pork with poached eggs and sausage with eggs and of course the pastry. All were sup
This place is amazing I love the atmosphere and customer service. We were seated quickly and the food was not a long wait either. They serve different pastries daily they would check in with us periodically to see if we needed anything else. We parked in front of the place and put quarters in the me
The food and the service were both excellent! The owner was very personable and visited with us and gave us some history about this wonderful diner! We definitely will be returning! Something you don't want to miss if you're in LA!
Took my mom for breakfast because she was in town and leaving right afterwards. It needed to be somewhere close and not packed as a lot of places get busy on Sunday for breakfast. It’s been years since I’ve visited this place and what can I say…it’s was such a good experience!! We parked on Los Ang
The food and service here were exceptional! We had the biscuits and gravy with eggs, hangover helper, and a maple bacon donut!! It was all delicious, coffee was on point and very friendly service!!
Great hash. Sweet spicy way to start a Saturday . I love that the servers come to your table with freshly made donuts that they made. REALLY? Yes Get in here. Once named in the top 10 breakfast haunts in LA. Get your buns in here.
Exactly what we were looking for! Great food (offering some new to me local favorites and outstanding traditional breakfast fare). Friendly staff to keep my cup full and table cleared. Would recommend for sho’.
I wasn't won over by the chicken sausage, but my experience with such is limited. The Dog Pile was great, and their coffee is good. Great meal, tremendous ambiance.
Really wanted to try a bacon donut. Alas, the last one was sold just before the waitress came to me. Tried the pozole instead. Very good flavor, but not traditional at all. It had cheese in it. Very strange for pozole. Tasty nonetheless.
