Gjusta - Los Angeles - Photo album

Recently, I decided to try a new breakfast place and enjoy a good meal in the morning. I was amazed by the quality and flavor of the dishes the restaurant offered, however, my experience was marred by the terrible customer service I received. Let's start with the positive, the variety of breakfast
Dining here is truly a treat for the senses. The food is absolutely exceptional, with all the sweets striking the perfect balance—not too sweet. I dislike desserts that overpower with sweetness, as I prefer to savor a range of flavors. The fig tart and bread were nothing short of perfect, delivering
Been wanting to visit here for a while. We went for brunch at around 10am and it easily found a seat outdoor. We ordered the salted mocha and matcha for drinks. Salted mocha was very rich, salty and velvety. Matcha was ok. Food wise, we ordered the shakshouka, salmon roe bagel, and the fish and egg
Who would have known that behind this simple gray door there would be a delightful, full-service bakery. In fact, Gjusta is more than a bakery. Yes, there is fresh bread and pastries. And, there's more. Deli options. Breakfast menu. Espresso bar. And, to top it off, there's a private patio. We place
Honestly a great experience. Went on a week day, heard it gets busy on the weekend and I can see why. Across the street from world famous Venice golds gym and a block away from the beach. This is a great spot to start your day!
Food is tasty but menu isn’t up to date. Pastries availability vary and the earlier, the better. Nice terrasse with rustic seating options. Delicious coffee. In all, good experience but little to no service.
Gjusta is the embodiment of California and Santa Monica living. With tons of options in trms of food, Gjusta is the one stop shop for a great meal, and great vibes. We went here after the beach and it was just the perfect pairing. Make sure you get there early though because they get busy and sell o
The food here was great and the service overall was fantastic. We got the prepackaged cookies as well and also tried several sandwiches. Everything was amazing. However, I am giving these guys four stars and might have done even less for the travesty of organization that encompasses this ordering
Since I moved to Venice Ive been coming to Gjusta from time to time and really really enjoying the vibes, and it gives me a slightly European feeling that I love. Amazing patio, food selection. Among things to keep in mind though, is a huuuuge line on weekends so ordering takes a while. And somethin
Super cool, trendy cafe. We came from Vancouver and noticed that this place is very popular with fellow tourists and locals alike. Huge line even at off times, but they have a cool system where you take a number and wait if you have a larger order, or join the express line for drinks and small eats.
Went there on 7:20 am on a Saturday. Found it on Google and wasn't aware of the hype. I really enjoyed the food, the staff and the location. It is absolutely worth a visit but beware: It is expensive for a cafe. Maybe normal expensive for LA but an egg sandwich sets you back 13 dollars, small portio
Remarkable space with exquisite food. Ambiance and vibe is outstanding. Bakery is on point as well with their bread and sweets. 10/10 recommend.
Great place for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Huge selection of freshly baked bakery products. Pretty crowded most of the time.
Always a great experience, never ordered anything I didn't like. The staff are incredibly helpful! Plenty of seating out on the patio, unless you go at peak times
Gjusta is a bakery near Venice Beach that's always packed and for good reason. They make all their bread and pastries in house and fresh on a daily basis too. Parking outside can be tough, and getting a table can sometimes be impossible so your best bet is usually to get it to go at the express regi
Exceptional. Street parking, dismal looking facade, no table service, very little inside seating, how/where to order a bit confusing, but take heart. The food is very good, plenty of outside dining with or without shade, heaters if you need them , nice casual landscaping & lighting, efficient servic
Great place for brunch. The food is amazing and not heavy. They have a cool outdoor patio with shade to enjoy. You can bring your laptop and work. The atmosphere feels like you are eating in someone backyard. Only the parking sucks.
