Very friendly Staff and I highly recommend the Ruben Sandwich or the pastrami. The cheesecake is also killer. Must stop if you love food. Can you say it to me if it was trying me is very, very good? My team did a Video shoot, this is how I found them. And tried that pastrami very good very killer. Did I mention the pastrami?
Came here for the first time with a group of friends after a funeral of a loved one. We were sat on time as our reservation time.
The place was packed with customers! It didn't look that big from. The outside but it was actually a large establishment.
I ordered this Philly steak sandwich with steak cut fries & coleslaw on the side.
For $19.00 it was a huge portion and they gave a big stack of meat!
Only reason for 4 stars was because of lack of seasoning on the beef & the fries were cold
The waiter & waitress were professional & made everything run smoothly.
My friends ordered many other things on the menu such as pastrami sandwich, matzo ball soup, split pea soup, barley mushrooms soup etc.. they were all happy with the food.
Recommended for others to try this place out.
Great food as always. We usually have their food as catering during the holidays and it is fantastic. Being able to go into the restaurant for a meal with family is great too. It is a pretty fast paced restaurant though.
Tried out this deli while on vacation in LA based on the pictures I saw online and was not disappointed at all. This has to be one of the best deli's ever,as good as NY delis. Everything they do here they do perfectly, From crafting the sandwiches exactly as they should be made, To the friendly Quick service, It was busy during lunch time, Yet I got my order in less than 10 minutes. I had the hot pastrami dip and it was delicious, Perfectly made with nice soft bread and juicy meat. All the food looks great here, And everything's very high quality. You can't go wrong coming here. It may be a ways away from where you're staying but it is well well worth it!
I am originally from New Jersey, and deli is the ultimate comfort food to me. I have been to Brent’s before to get take out, but this was the first time my wife and I ate there in-person. Before I go further, I need to provide some advise. Bring…your…appetite!!! I had the stuffed cabbage dinner. You have the choice of getting one or two rolls. I got one roll, and I took half of it home. Their portions are huge! Take your time and savor your meal. In addition to great meals and sandwiches, they also have great desserts such as cookies and cakes. I knew that there were great delis in the Los Angeles Area, and I would say that Brent’s is one of the best. It has been open since 1967, so I am not the only one that agrees.
Their pastrami reuben is equal if not better than Langer's. I look forward to try their other dishes.
Always great food! I was happy we missed the lunch rush, so there was no wait time. The service was a little slower than usual, but it was at shift change so that’s to be expected. You don’t come here to save money, but their food has always been well worth the price.
Ok this is a great experience regardless! Going for years and yes the prices have risen but the quality maintains which is one of the many reasons I still go! Many restaurants have sacrificed quality to save money and that’s what looses customers. You get what you pay for and quality keeps people coming back. Wanna play, ya gotta pay or you don’t get. End of story!
Brent's Deli knows what they're doing! They know how to cook really good food. They make one of the best burgers 🍔around and their Tuna Melt 🐟🥪 is perfection. Best Potato Salad 🥔. Can't go wrong with any of their soups 🍲. Brent's knows how to cook, how to serve, how to take care of customers. They've got it down! Even during their busiest times, they are a well-oiled machine. 👍👍
We have never had a bad meal here. We used to live in the area and live out of state. We try to visit whenever we come back to California. You cannot go wrong with anything you order and the staff is there to please. It is always busy. Enjoy!
