We had the fisherman's platter. One piece each of Cod and Halibut. 4 or 5 shrimp and some clam bits and pieces over fries with Cole slaw, tartar and cocktail sauce. The fish itself was good, BUT there was way too much breading on it. The clam pieces were tiny and mostly breading. The shrimp was ok, fires were hot. The cocktail sauce was not that great, too sour, and the Cole slaw had way too much vinegar in it to eat it. $18 and some change, but really, the heavy batter ruined it for me. I'm a seafood lover, not a batter fiend. I won't get this again.

I have been a couple of times now. I've had the Grilled Halibut Sandwich and the Blackened Grilled Chicken. Both were excellent. I recommend the Coleslaw. I'm very picky and I love it, just like Mom makes.

Husband and I stopped in today for lunch. He had the shrimp basket and I had the club sandwich. Portions were larger than other restaurants in the area. Food was hot. Service was quick and good. There were 3 or 4 other groups eating at the same time. It wasn’t super busy but not dead either. Prices were in line with other restaurants in area and actually cheaper than a couple. The food was delicious and the only drawback was that the shrimp was a bit too crispy for our taste. Will definitely be back. I would mention that I had gone there hoping to have a TBA sandwich which had been on the old Masthead menu but it was not on the new menu. They offered to make it for me but I went with my other favorite. I was pleasantly surprised at their offer. Cream cheese is not on my diet anyway.

Good food, good portions, and well prepared. Very tasty. Fish and chips were large portions, well done and not greasy. The seating was comfortable (both booths and tables) the folks were friendly. The only downside would be that the sign for the restaurant isn't very visible from the street.

Was pretty good. Service was great, food was good. Not a fan of the onion rings though. Seem more like onion donuts. Aside from that, I sampled a little but of everyones plates. The coconut shrimp and clam chowder was great, as was the 1/2 sandwhich I ordered. Prime rib was well cooked as well.

Horrible first time experience, ordered to go. They forgot my onion rings, and my salad. The clam strips were tough and chewy, obviously over cooked. The chowder was half cold and obviously microwaved. The prime rib sandwich was small and dried out. Neither of these items were worth the price I paid for them all these comments on here saying how good it is have no idea what good food is

Underwhelmed. Think Mrs Pauls Beer Batter Fish overcooked until instead of the fish being light and flaky becoming more like a lump of wet toiletpaper that shreds. I peeled the oily batter and tried the fish. Nada. Crinkle cut fries overcooked. I left them on the plate. Seriously based on prior reviews I expected a great meal. Along with small portions this is not a good value. Staff was prompt and courteous to set up my meal. I never saw the lady again until she brought out food to another diner and i got her attention to get the check. I recommend you keep looking if your focus is fish and chips.
