Very nice and lovely food the salmon with cranberry reminded me of thanksgiving and the lobster bisque with crab was very tasty as well

We dined at the LaBarca and tried it for the first time. Very nice atmosphere with all the boats on the water. Food was outstanding. The crab & corn chowder was the BEST I’ve ever had. Crab bruschetta was very good & the lobster fettuccine was excellent. Very impressive experience for the first time. The menu has some great items to try but its quite pricey. Bar service was a bit slow (which is probably why I gave 4 stars). Some of the staff were more interested in their cell phones or walked about and not working. It wasn’t until a bar manager came over & gave us great service. He was quite friendly and accommodating & made us feel welcome and ensured we enjoyed our meals & drinks. We’ll definitely come back in the near future to make a reservation as the food was well worth the price and the bar manager’s service made the day.

This place is consistently good. We had a party of 25 people and everyone enjoyed their meals. We were worried that it would be super slow because of the size of our group, but it was great.
Salads and apps:
We ordered a bunch of salads and apps for the table. The Caesar Salad were great, the Arugula Pear salads were delicious. Love the light dressing on it. Poke Nachos were loaded with flavor and easy to share. The bread and pesto oil was super. Oysters were tasty and had a nice presentation on a large plate of ice. I wish I took pictures.
Entrees:
The linguini and clams was very tasty, i only wish it had a little sauce on it to dip bread into. (one person in our party is celiac and really enjoyed the GF penne and clams. So nice to have a few GF choices) The Grilled Bronzino with Cannellini beans was a beautiful presentation.
Dessert and drinks:
A few people had dessert. I didn't try them, but i was told they were excellent and the plates were "licked clean" lol
I love the GIGANTIC wine glasses for the reds. The French martini was tasty, but i think they forgot the vodka. Their Old Fashioned was terrible. That was literally the only thing that was sent back.
Service:
Our server, Anthony, was calm and cool and was able to handle us all.
The only reason for the 4 star of atmosphere is that it is a very loud place and hard to have a conversation even with the person next to you. The view of the harbor 5 stars.

Beautiful view from our window table. Impeccable service (special kudos to our Server and the Bar Manager) and food was delicious. Will be going back very soon.

Great atmosphere, good food and excellent service! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a solid meal at an affordable price. They accommodated us with only a day in advance for a large group and the meals came quickly and were fresh and tasty. You can't go wrong here!

Although the prices are very high, the service is excellent and the food was good. We tried a pasta dish, mini Caesar salad, veal parmigiana and chicken parm. The drinks were predictably exhorbitant at avg. $17 each. The least expensive glass of wine was an $8 Pinot.

Started with the fried calamari so glad we did. Was fried to perfection great taste. Husband loved the green sauce it came with. Kids loved their spaghetti friend had oysters and scallops said were delicious. I had the lobster gnocchi very tasty. Husband loved his Gorgonzola gnocchi. Fiona, the waitress was attentive and friendly. Tables were spread out from other tables which was nice. View was beautiful of the boats and water. Kids loved the koi pond out front too. Had turtle in it. All around great experience.

Such a great place for dinner. Short ribs were beyond amazing. My date had a scallop and gnocchi special. It was amazing. He said. Her waiter was only there 3 days and he was really good but very busy. Beautiful place. As you walk in, there's a beautiful koi pond, very well kept. My Manhattan by the way was amazing!!

What an amazing evening we had at LaBarca. Beautiful atmosphere (recommend a table along the windows), delicious food and superb/extremely attentive staff. A special shout out to our server Tori who couldn’t do enough to ensure our visit was perfect. We will definitely return.
