Went here two weeks in a row. Both times, the meal was outstanding. Service Exceptional , and the staff beyond friendly. Considering it's a shore town, they really got their act together. Try the pork chop, it was amazing.
Unreal decor and elegant outfits across the board for staff. NY Strip and shrimp was very well portioned and good. Drinks look amazing but were okay for that day. Will def visit again!

Had a decent dinner this time. Honestly nothing to write home about. For the cost of the meal, it could have been better. $100pp for a salad, entrée and one drink. The tomato salad was very fresh but not much flavor in the vinaigrette. The beet salad was much better with the goat cheese mixed in. The South Philly pork chop was the highlight. The soft shell platter didn’t look very appealing, but maybe that’s the was that dish looks like. $2 extra for lemon and olive oil sauce on a piece of grilled fish. How else would they make it? I know every restaurant in margate is pricey, but this seemed a little above that, given what we had.
Service was spotty, but they were nice. We were at the farthest table from the restaurant (outside) so maybe it was that.
p.s. they changed the way cars park on the street so you no longer feel like you’re going to be run over. And the drinks now have a little something on the rim e.g. lemon wedge or watermelon slice (it used to be just liquid and ice. Maybe they read my review from last year and made the change!

Sat outside. It was very pleasant. (You are right at the parking area so every time a car pulls in or out you pray since there are no bollards)
Service was very good. Everyone was working very hard. We felt very taken care of.
Bar drinks were good with interesting selections but there was no creativity. No lime or herb or cherry on any of the drinks. Just liquid and ice. Could have been a little more inspired. Wine list was extensive and the ones we had were very good and reasonably priced.
Food was tasty and plentiful. The shrimp were jumbo. The lobster was cooked well. The salads were good. We had the Milan and the Caesar. My seafood dish had a ton of seafood. All very good, (but 4 of the 5 clams didn’t open so didn’t eat.)
Inside the average age looked about 25 and outside 65.
All in all, a very nice evening. And I will be back.
Great restaurant, awesome staff, service was top notch. Food was absolutely delicious. The only thing that let it down was a few loud people sitting at the bar which took away from our dining experience.
Great ambiance and service. Awesome app (salmon biscuit not pictured). And loved the sautéed soft shells with lump crab and side spinach! Can’t wait to go back.
Absolutely the best meal I've had in many, many years. Chef Joe is a master of seafood and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. If you are in Atlantic City and want a satisfying and delightful meal experience I highly recommend you drive to Longport in Downbeach to Catch.
Food and service very good! Staff extremely nice! Restaurant decor lovely! Just too loud dining indoor to hold a conversation without leaning in and talking loud and repeating yourself. Next time I would dine outdoors.
Everything we ordered was excellent . Was a little loud.
Just came from dinner tonight. We were a party of 4 and from having a drink at the beautiful bar and bartender Gaitano who was personable and professional to our dinner served by Karen who was equally professional, we were blown away by the options for starters and dinner. Food was delicious and I just have to say, this is a gem of a restaurant in Longport. Some of the other nearby Margate restaurants are tough to get reservations at so don’t even bother trying and just check this place out. I highly recommend The Catch for a great vibe, great food and awesome cocktails and great service.
Staff friendly n on point. Food tastey
Cute bright atmosphere
Would go back
Tuna pizza and the grilled romaine salad were incredible
Catch is a great - yup, catch!
This was a fantastic dining experience. It began with our pleasant, wily, server Karen (name may be wrong) recommending we order the truffle cheese steak flat bread (note: do NOT eat here without ordering this), and culminated with a crafty junior server, reminiscent of a young Ray Liota (RIP) from Goodfellas except slinging a frangella-baileys cordial instead of cigarettes, offering to pick up the cost of the drink if we didn't enjoy it. He had us at hello and it was the perfect nightcap enjoyed with our brownie and bread putting sundaes (you can choose any ice cream flavor you want as long as it's vanilla).
In between I enjoyed a delicious salmon entree preceded by fried burrata and breaded shrimp. The various martini concoctions were punchy and refreshing, especially the engorged and saturated lychee in my martini with that namesake.
We will be going back!
