Delicious food. We got the Bandera, which is a selection of two stews (goat stew and braised pork), ceviche, salad, rice, & hominy. Everything was absolutely delicious, particularly the pork which was melt in the mouth tender with amazingly crunchy & delicious skin. We split this between two and it was plenty of food. Add friendly service and it's five stars.
The food was delicious! My friend ordered the Bandeja Ecuatoriana despite not being a big fan of steak and absolutely loved his meal. The portions served are large and will definitely leave you full. The venue is quite small, so expect to wait a bit, but the service was great from the moment we entered. Ordered the Chaulafan and I enjoyed it except their chicken could be a bit more tender. All the flavors meshed well together and the hot sauce had a nice kicker to it and really added another layer of flavor to the dish.
I went there with a friend searching for a quick bite and wonderful food. That is exactly what we found. A great place frequented by locals. It has wonderful service, friendly staff and the food is to die for. I will be going back
Food was great. I can't say if it's authentic, but it probably was(?) and it was definitely delicious. Big portions, delicious fresh food, friendly, quick, attentive service.
Very cozy Ecuadorian food spot. it felt a little bit cold because of the fact that the front door wouldn't close all the way but other than that everything was really good all the way to the food. the waitress was really nice and courteous. I had the number 25 that came with a bunch of things but it was delicious. the prices are really fair for the portions that you get as well. if you can't finish it they put it in a nice to-go container in aluminum so you have no problem putting it in a small oven. Definitely would recommend the place. if I took off one star it was just due to the fact that it could get really cold when the door wasn't closing all the way.
Little Ecuadorian treasure in Astoria. Affordable, friendly waitress and fresh food!! I loved their rice and bean. Can’t wait to come back. Very unassuming little place but highly recommend
I had chaulafan, it was good, but a bit too much chicken for me, otherwise seasoning was savory. The encebollada was delicious for mother. The price and food are a match because they serve well enough for a full belly.
Fats friendly service, food is AMAZING.
Outside seating. Cute spot for quick eats
my parents have been coming here for years. we will keep supporting this establishment for many years to come. gives us a taste of our homeland.
I’ve been to a many Ecuadorian restaurants all over NYC but I keep coming back to this location. The food is always flavorful, fresh and the service is good. I love Ecuadorian food as it brings me back to my roots. This place is a definitely must try if you enjoy Ecuadorian food as much as I do.
We ordered the Llapingacho and the Bandera. They were delicious, large portions! Friendly staff
First time coming to this little Ecuadorian gem. Had the bolon de chicharrón and caldo de pata. Both very good. Will be coming back again. Soup tastes exactly as it would if it had been made at home. Definitely my new spot for Ecuadorian delicacies
10 out 10 will came back great food, nice place to sit down and eat
A great hole in the wall restaurant. Delicious, fresh food, huge portions, lovely service.
