The great staff was serving the following snacks: Mango salad: very refreshing and enough soft texture from the mango, crispiness from the bell peppers and onions. Shrimp Tempura: I am a shrimp lover so I cannot say anything against them were just delicious. I think this was the best plate all afternoon. Sushi: I'm not going to lie! They were decent enough, I eaten better sushi before. Pork: Had a great and it was plentiful and well balance with flavor and contrast in food texture. I really enjoyed this one. Ramen: Was very good, love the taste of noddle and pork. Dumplings: The skin was crispy, they were done very well also was bit savory but had a good size. Beverage: Drinks: Good and cold Tiger beer was served to accompany the food. They also had water for the one that don't like alcohol or beers.

One of the better authentic Chinese restaurants out there! By authentic Chinese, I mean authentic Chinese. No American nor fancy European influence is in the mix. I am talking about real Chinese food*, with true local flavors. I celebrated my birthday here back in October with friends in the VIP Room, which is tucked in the back corner of the restaurant(just like in China)! Unfortunately, I do not have much photos from that night because my phone's battery died. :'( I don't really eat out at Chinese restaurants, so one of my relatives who came to visit from China did most of the ordering. There were as much as 15-20 different dishes that were ordered that night, a lot of which were meat dishes. Of the 15-20, the ones that stood out to me the most were the Jellyfish Salad, Three-Cup Chicken, and Cumin Lamb. Jellyfish in the Jellyfish Salad had a sort of bumpy, yet smooth texture like clear noodles. It left this cool feeling in the mouth and built up anticipation for what was to come. The Three-Cup Chicken here is the best! This restaurant did not skimp on ingredients nor drench the entire plate with sauce. Chicken was tender and the whole dish resonated with subtle notes of dried chili peppers and star anise. My favorite dish from that night is definitely the Cumin Lamb! It came out on a huge tray ladened with dozens of different spices. Vegetables were placed below the star attraction for presentation and to balance out the what Chinese people call "fire" of the dish(Google "5 elements of food" and give yourself a pat on the back for learning something new). The lamb was fresh, juicy, and tender. The variety of scents and flavors of the spices, infused with the meat and bone of the lamb, further brought out the umami that was hidden within the muscle fibers. Pictures of the countryside immediately arose in my mind. Very rustic! Everything was freshly prepared and made from scratch. Nothing tasted many days old. I loved every dish that I tried. Service was amazing and servers frequently came by to check that everything was okay. We stayed a little bit past closing time, and no one rushed us. Alas, it seems that not many people know of this restaurant(which is located across from Queens Botanical Garden) unless they live nearby or happen to be in the area. However, word-of-mouth still manages to keep this place afloat. Great food, great vibes, & great service. This is the place to be when you're in Flushing! *I just realized that 'Chinese food' is a very broad category and composes of foods from many different regions in China. The Chinese cuisine that I am referring to is that of Szechuan. Sorry for any misunderstanding. *

Friendly staff, good food. The Teriyaki chicken was on point! My only gripe was the music. Pretty basic.
