Review 7-eleven - Long Beach

Was racially profiled yesterday on march 18th ag 10:40am by the female who works behind the counter. I went to the back at the store to find a drink in the fridgerator section I didn't open the refrigerator door I was there maybe 2 minutes max. I proceeded to the front cou ter and asked for the prices of there coffee as they tend to fluctuate from 1.00 and 2.00 all the time there. The male named nicki was about to hand me a cup for coffee when the female cashier came from.behind the counter yelling looks like she wanted to.grab my bag accusing me of stealing because I had an empty powerade bottle in a brown ralphs bag with a few groceries in the bag. I told her that you can't do that just aggresively approaching people yelling and making a scene in the 711 without no actual fact or proof knowing if anybody stole anything. I told her check the cameras and see that i didn't touch anything in the store. I had my coffe money in my right hand and my ralphs bag in my left. This is 711 I'm concerned now getting threats from a convience store worker. I will never go to that store again if they think that type of behaviour is acceptable. Just assuming that everyone that enters the store is stealing. I don't steal. I work and pay for what I want. I'm not giving my money to any 711 store again. This is discrimination. I've spend around $50.00 since march first buying coffee and snacks if I knew how rude and disrespectful these workers were I would've never set foot in this store. I want my money back from these racists. This is such a burden especially early in the morning when you need a coffee or traveling. Those times when you need to refuell I needed a drink not your disrespectful racialized attitudes. These people are sick. This is not convient. I had to go far and purchase food and drink elsewhere. Never again. I want compensation its not dar. You wasted my precious time and energy and stressed me out over nothing. A 2 minute altercation messed up my day. Understand not everyone is a thief. That was rude out of order. Other people may steal but you clearly saw I had money in my hand. I don't. The store problem is not my problem. I don't need your burdens from others. Those workers are in the negative. You owe me for that b.s yesterday. Dont waste my time. Next time i will look out for a vending machine instead of these racist humans. I don't need you to serve me. No RACISTS

I see the owner is actively responding to reviews here, I appreciate that. I need to point out that there is some kind of raggedy man who has "hired himself" as a doorman for this location. His 'pay' is the 'spare change' and 'coffee and muffin' that he demands from every single person. He insists on opening the door for every person who walks in and out and it is unsettling. He clearly does not have any right to this 7-Eleven nor its customers. Any reasonable business would tell some "self hired" weirdo camping at their entrance to get lost and stay lost.

Not a bad experience here. They have less hot food items prepared than most other locations. Also no alcohol at all. The big thing about this one is the fact that they don't sell menthol cigarettes in any way, shape or form.

POST YOUR HOURS!!!!!! If you search it still says you are open twenty four hours when you aren’t and haven’t been for a very long time. WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?!!?! Edit: the response was to go to some website to explain when there isn’t much to explain. The store isn’t open 24 hours, and there are no hours posted, so you see people there early in the morning trying to get in and late at night. What else is there to say?

Staff extremely nice and accommodating. Christmas Day and everything was closed. I was just looking for a good cup of coffee. Staff member started a fresh brew being that what was left had been there for a while. Covid compliant with cap, stirrer and cup sleeve handed to me in a plastic bag. Coffee was actually pretty good. A pleasant surprise

Again, not a 24 hour location as advertised. This is getting stupid. If you're not gonna be open 24 hours, don't advertise as such.

Closed at 4:40AM even though listed as a 24 hr one.

Uber bad customer service came in to use restroom. So first I bought coconut water asked the guy at the register if I can use the restroom he sad no. I have friends who own 7 Elevens that that have told me it's against their policy to refuse service to customer who as to use the restroom. He didn't mention anything about it being out of order (as some would do to get rid of you) he simply said no. Then I returned the product at which he got mad and was demeaning. Took place today on sept 30 2017 at around 11:30ish pm. I work in the hospitality business I know and expect better service.
