I understand that there is new management, but either way the food was super disappointing especially for the price. I don’t expect places to cater to vegans but even a regular avocado roll from somewhere

The blue bird Sushi that used to be at this location was great but they moved to 16367 Bolsa Chica St. Huntington Beach, CA 92649. I haven't tried the new place that has taken the same location and is repurposing the name yet so i can't tell you if it is good or not.
All I have to say is ... when it comes to sushi and prices ... bluebird is the way to go ! Animal roll & hey baby roll is a must! and their other premium rolls are amazing as well - perfect date night grab for sure !
I'm already insanely bummed about the vegan sushi, I have been craving the tempura roll so hard with their vegan eel sauce, the rolls are ok but just really tofu heavy, and fairly plain, the lady was nice It just not what I have been craving litrally flew in from TN today and have been waiting to go

I enjoyed my experience here. The server was kind and helpful and the food was delicious. Having a separate vegan menu made out easy to see the tons of options they had. Their veggie gyōzas were so flavorful and just how I like them.
