Review Table 301 - Long Beach

Justin Neustadter
Fantastic pizza and cocktails. The cocktails are made extra strong. I had a great old fashioned. We had the pesto pizza and prosciutto and fog pizza both of which were delicious. The prices are great too at only about $10 a pizza and $6 a cocktail during happy hour. I would definitely recommend coming here.

The food was meh. The meatballs were two unseasoned balls of ground beef slathered in sauce. The sausage pizza lacked flavor and was surprisingly soggy despite it being thinner crust. I would not go back for the food but I would definitely return for the drinks. Our bartender was Jeff. He was very attentive and had great personality that fit right in with the vibe. He mixed us up some great cocktails that were right on point. If you are trying to get a little pre game in before heading out on the town or want to unwind after a hard days work you should definitely check out the cocktails at this place.

I found Table 301 Bistro on the 4th day they were open. This restaurant is beautiful inside and outside; very well designed with great textures and color. The location is really great. I found the wait staff all to be very friendly and attentive. They have two bars, one inside and the other surrounded by a nice patio with seating ajacent to the street sidewalk (cool spot). I really like Table 301. It's new and it's there for you! Enjoy! My photos on Table 301: Over 12,000 views in ten days. I would say this shows Table 301 is very popular already. ATMOSPHERE - this is a great place for outdoor dining. The breeze that blows through this corridor makes eve seats in the sunlight comfortable. The funky-ass-tunes from Sonos just set a laid back mood. The wide open dining room with at the bar seating is inviting. MENU - If you are looking to drink with friends this place can't be beat. The cocktail menu is creative and the beer and wine list is fairly deep. If you are looking to eat you'll find tasty food but mixed value. The menu is a la carte. The BITES part of the menu offers tasty sides for good value. The PLATES part of the menu offers tasty food for good value. The SANDWICHE part of the menu offers tasty food but because all you get is the sandwich the value is not so good. The GREENS part the menu is actually the most creative with delicious results, also a good value. The WOOD-FIRE PIZZA part of the menu is similar in price and options to California Pizza Kitchen. I was told that since they have only been open 1 week they do not yet have menu specials but they will soon. Also they are figuring out their inventory because the wait staff had to worn me that they were out of two entree options.

If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it. Everything we had was great and the service was fantastic. They are still relatively new so an off night here and there is to be expected... Give this place a couple months to work out the kinks and it’s gonna be a major hit.

Love the trendy design of the place. Huge drink menu, and a very diverse food menu. This restaurant is fairly new so I was skeptical to try it. Was not disappointed! The presentation of the dishes was nicely portrayed. With each bite you can tell how careful the preparation was. The service was very professional and prompt. There was however a moment of absence in which we had to pour our own water. No big deal really, the citrus olive oil cake was superb!

301 had a great atmosphere and a really friendly staff. Everything we ate was really good. My favorite was the prosciutto and fig pizza. It wasn't heavy and had a great blend of flavors and textures. Happy Hour on a Saturday afternoon is pretty rare, so the $6 crazy cocktails were a surprise and hit. We sat inside but it was popppin' on the patio. I look forward to going back.

I've been here a few times and received wonderful service. Food is decent, yet overpriced. I'm rating it two stars due to my last experience at this location. I was excited to bring my friend for a drink at the patio, but it soon turned into a sour visit. I went this past Friday May 31st at around 6:30pm, the bartender outside seemed to be in a very bad mood or annoyed out of her life. We were not greeted and simply dismissed. I asked if we could order a drink in the bar area or had to sit on a table with my friend's child, as the bartender was walking past us and she rolled her eyes and said in a bothered tone "I'll ask." That was enough for us to leave. It's unfortunate to have such poor quality employees. I live on the promenade and will NOT be returning to this place to see poor Attitudes.

I had been watching the restaurant during the construction phase from my window. We went and had an early dinner. The service was great. The food was quite excellent. We ordered the candied apple dessert. The head chef came and asked of our thoughts. We offered up a suggestion and he liked the idea. They have a great outdoor patio with a great outdoor fire pit. Looking forward to this experience in the future. I will highly recommend Table 301.

Absolutely fantastic! We tried a little bit of everything - cauliflower, shisito peppers, hummus, wood-fire pizza...couldn’t go wrong w any dish we selected!

We really enjoyed our lunch today, sitting at the bar with a nice breeze. Hazy IPA hit the spot, as did the Shrimp Corn Dog, Butterhead Salad with lots of avocado and the Wood-fire Pepperoni Pizza. And couldn’t resist the Baked CandyApple dessert. Friendly staff and quick service. Happy to have a new lunch place DTLB.

Excellent all around! The chicken confit pizza was both original and delicious. Will you guys be expanding to brunch?

Soon to be the new Downtown Long Beach Hot Spot! Mother-In-Law Approved! Just made my second trip to Table 301, even though it just opened this weekend. Friday, I went to the private "dry-run" night with my parents and friends. Not knowing what to expect, we were all blown away by the layout, as well as the menu. Tonight, I took my wife, daughter, and mother-in-law. They came away equally impressed. First off, the lay out is bright, open, and airy. There are two bars, one on the patio, and a sunken two-sided bar that looks out onto 3rd Street and the Promenade. They offer microbrew beers and craft cocktails. (Sorry, no Coors, Coronas, or mainstream spirits.) The menu invites sampling and sharing. Over my past two visits, I had the opportunity to sample a variety of delicious fare. Everything was great, but some of our favorites include the Shrimp Corn Dogs (Wow) , The 301 Burger (WOW), Buffalo Wings (Spicy), and their wood-fired pizzas. Honestly, we didn't eat anything we didn't like, and there are many options to satisfy almost any appetite. (BTW, save room for dessert!) As word spreads, I predict that Table 301 will become one of the Hot Spots of Downtown Long Beach. Whether you are coming for dinner or just appetizers and drinks, the welcoming atmosphere is sure to become a favorite. My Mother-in-Law even told us she wants to come back for her Birthday!

This is Day 2 of their opening. Had the Brownie Skillet made fresh. Tasty and great ice cream. Could have had more ice cream per serving. Will be back for more to try.

Bad, bad, bad!!!!! I wish I could post a pic of my $14.00 po boy sandwich and the rubbery steak sandwich we had. I don’t understand the two, three even two stars people here are giving this place, then again it mis be their lower standards.

Very cool place! Food was OK service was very pleasant! I do wish the menu would have been a little broader but they have only been open a few days!
