Polly's Gourmet Coffee - Long Beach - Photo album

Can't believe I never noticed this place! Excellent coffee with the added bonus of little museum type setting. They roast the beans in house so you can see their set up which was pretty cool. Service was fast and friendly, with a small town feel. Can't wait to go back and try again.
Used to buy coffee beans and tea here after they opened in the mid-'70s. It was known as Polly's Coffee back then, now it's called Sheldrake Coffee Roasting. Same high quality! Met the owner on my way out after purchasing a couple of different coffees and exchanged a few memories.
Sheldrake's coffee is always hot & fresh! The best coffee on 2nd street. You can smell the coffee down the block, cause he roasts his beans right there in the store. There is also a great variety of teas to choose from. The employees are very friendly & if you happen to catch Mike (the owner) ther
Love this place! Mocha ice blended with expressions beans and a floating shot. Marvelous I tell ya. The owners assistant is cool he explained the process of coffee to me. So complex. Cheers.
Mom and pop coffee shop. They’re coffee def don’t lose to blue bottle coffee or any of the big brand store. Their mikes blend iced coffee is extremely refreshing and light in flavor.
Don’t be fooled by the name it’s still essentially Pollys. It’s a long story ask Mike. Anyway great place, great vibe, great coffee. Being from out of town it’s nice to see that it’s still there and still the same.
Easy, this is on my top 10 Coffee House list for 2018! Big, big wow... Many kudos. They have style, history, color, suave and coffee roasted in house with vintage roasting machine. Polly's is vintage gorgeous. That isn't all either. The location on 2nd St in Long Beach is way cool. They have patio
