Review Tgi Fridays - Long Beach

Menu has gotten better since the last time I visited about 3 years ago. Drink menu looks good too. I like sitting in the bar area to watch the games. Not too crowded at 3pm. There were plenty of open tabes to choose from.

The staff was friendly and quick with the food and asking us if we needed anything. The food was a great size portion and it could have fed two people. There were plenty of parking.

My rating went up only one star because it was horrible in 2016-17 where I've seen waitresses come out crying because of how the manager treated them and they were severely understaffed which caused longer hours for their employees. Which made wait times extremely longer and the employees irritable to impatient customers. My revisit in 2022 was better but I didn't stay as long because I wasn't to much of a fan but my guest wanted a burger so we went here. Our server was great and the food remained the same except I missed the appetizer deals they had back then. It has improved and the wait times were better but past events had left a bad impression for me.

Potatoe skins were so reheated and burnt that they had no white potato. The shrimps were heated so long they were chewy The onion rings had no breading. The chicken on the parm alfredo was overcooked. The NY steak was dry and not hot. 1st and only time eating at TGIF. I will be going to 1 of the other 2 steakhouses located next door! Manager Brittany didn't show compassion and wasn't able to recover the customer. she said she was unable to give a full refund or even a partial refund.

We usually go for drinks and live music which is great; no complaints about that. Only complaint is the food. Tried having dinner 3 times and ordered something different each time hoping it was just an off day for the chefs. The food is awful. First time just ordered the combo appetizer and the potato skins looked microwaved 5 times with no potato in it. It was just skin pretty much. Second time ordered spinach dip and chips and salsa and the chips were stale. Salsa was just tomatoes. I ordered the sizzling chicken and shrimp and it had no flavor. The worst plate of all- the new Cajun chicken and shrimp. This is the worst dish I have ever been served at a restaurant. The chicken looked like it had just been thrown in the microwave. No seasoning whatsoever. It looked gross. Not even salt and pepper. Nothing on it. The sauce was more white than reddish, as the picture shows. I couldn't eat it without adding salt and pepper. Even the bartenders ordered out and got other food for their break. People across from me also ordered the same thing because the picture makes it look good. Their face was also that of disgust and they also asked for the salt and pepper. I expect more from a place where the plates are over $20. I was hungry the last time I went just for drinks so just got cheese fries. That was good. The only thing so far out of the last 4 times I went. Chefs really need to step up their cooking. Jack in the box is better, honestly.

Boneless wings on sampler plate were over cooked. Whiskey glaze chicken sandwich was good .bill was $105 and my card was charged $127. Any payment over $100 I receive text from bank. Was planning on leaving $25 cash tip as I prefer tipping in cash. Disappointed experience

Poor customer service. Argued with a customer. For some reason they were unable to split our check and gave our party attitude. James was great and explained everything but Ashley and the cook were impolite. Will not be returning here and will be contacting the next manager who is polite enough to speak with me without laughing about the situation. I just hope everyone who works there learns how to us "the new system" so that issues don't continue to happen

When I received my meal it was lukewarm and the cold slaw was watery, informed the wait staff. His response was sorry about. I didn't send back, because we know what can happen in those circumstances. I finished most of my meal, I asked to speak to manager. He repeated the same sentiment as the waiter. "Sorry about that." Needless to say, I will not patronize this restaurant any more.

It's a bit pricey $ for the quality and the amount of food you get? They don't get the concept of appetizer? I was a bit upset they served the appetizer the same time as the main entree :-( You know that spinach queso dip is bubbling hot in a crock pot , Put some in a cup slam some chips on a plate and get it to me. So I have something to snack on and make conversation while I wait for my steak? So it's a sports bar with hundreds of TVs yet they're all set to the Dodger game no football no basketball no other games no hockey no Motocross ? that was stupid also? I also don't understand you can get refills on regular tea and raspberry tea but not strawberry? In a pinch I might hang out and eat here again what I recommended I don't think so...

The worst TGIF Friday's I've ever been to. Food order was wrong, food ordered did not match the menu description, water down cocktails, and unsympathetic staff. Won't be going there again! #TGIFfridaysbad

It was great ! Very friendly efficient watress and French Onion soup is always awesome Cucumber Chili margh a bit small for $9.00, tho...But always great service & food.
