I really enjoyed their food. I came down to Long Beach to visit some friends and we all tried this place for the first time. They have a dedicated bar section, a nice size dining area and ample outdoor seating. They even had a few TVs outside which is nice. I honestly wish I had ordered more, but the chicken kabobs were awesome. Normally when you order that you expect ground chicken, but they served cubed breast meat. The prices were decent as well. The kabob plates come with two sides, I ordered salad and rice. I really enjoyed each part of my meal. Hope to go again when I’m in the area.

We were sat immediately from the hostess. The bartender and server combined brought an overall satisfying meal. My chicken gyro was fine, Greek salad typical, and tomato soup was definitely my favorite of the platter. Fun atmosphere.

Falafels 3/5. Too mushy and not tasty. Left a few on the plate. Maybe an off day.

The staff has always been pleasant and friendly. The food was delicious and not too heavy. Tried the srhimp kabaobs. I've previously ordered their chicken spinachi, it's my favorite. But, it's nice to try other items. The feta fries did not disappoint. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves. And, I had a nice walk home afterwards.

Went after a local sporting event (Go Galaxy!) and had the best Greek food I've had in years.
The restaurant is located on Pine right around where it's really fun with two hours of free parking in the city lot about a block away. The patio seating was pleasant. Our waiter, Jonah, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Plus, his recommendations were excellent. Everything we ate was delicious, but the two big favorites of the night were the spanakopita and the lamb chops.

I was looking for a good food option in walking distance of my hotel when I came across this wonderful place. The food and atmosphere were both amazing and I even got a free dessert to go for absolutely no reason! I only wish I lived here and could have it more often. Definitely recommend.

Everything Was Absolutely Delicious and proportions were abundant. Our waiter (I believe his name was Jack) was friendly and prompt and took good care of us. This was our 1st time visiting Long Beach but we will be back and will also recommend this cafe to friends who visit the area.

Sadly, tonight after almost a decade of patronage a few times a year, I deleted that post and am replacing it with a single-star rating. I'm the same lady who—just a few minutes ago—walked out of your Lakewood store after I had that team cancel a to-go order of $47 and change for three lamb souvlakis. Due to their youth and lack of training, that same front-of-house crew did absolutely nothing (except apologize and offer excuses) to entice me to keep my order.
Is business getting so bad that George's Lakewood (and perhaps the Belmont and Downtown locations as well) now has to resort to the souvlaki lunch menu pricing of $6.95 base plus the $7.95 extra for lamb AND a 3 percent service charge for a to-go order?!?!?!!!!! The total price for three orders should've been about $5-$6 less.
Worse, your staff wouldn't even give me the dinner menu to compare. They contended the price there is higher. If that's indeed the case, then what did they have to hide?
