The real star of the meal was the singular pancake we ordered (not pictured). It had the slightest crisp on the outside and was pillowy on the inside, with the right balance of savory and sweet. I'd do a full stack next time and I'm not typically a pancake person.
One one the best fried “chicken” sandwiches I’ve had, vegan or otherwise. The bun was nicely toasted, the sauce was on point, even the salad was stand-out—perfectly dressed. Don’t hesitate to try this place, you won’t be disappointed.
Lovely restaurant to go with friends. They have indoor and outdoor seating. And reservations are required for the weekend. Very friendly and understanding staff. I had an allergy issue and they handled it beautifully and with a lot of grace. It was also a friend's birthday and they brought a littl

You have to make a reservation to dine in the restaurant, but it’s so worth it because The Wild Chive has The BEST vegan breakfast / brunch in Long Beach! I usually share the crispy zucchini sticks with my partner (who said the pancakes were delicious) and have the stuffed french toast with a Vietna
Amazing food. Great service went during brunch time. Reservations are required on weekends. Use Tock. No bottomless mimosas but that’s ok. Will be going next time I’m in Long Beach.
