Review Mimi's Cafe - Lone Tree

Beautiful place, I just love the rustic feel. The food here is delicious, and the people are even better. Lots of elderly, but that’s too be expected. Price range is fairly responsible as well, and the service is always reliable. 5 stars, undoubtedly.

The food here was wonderful! We had a fabulous server who was welcoming and humorous. We never lacked a thing, and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I loved the lively atmosphere of the restaurant! The restaurant is exceptionally popular and seldom lacks for customers.

Was really disappointed when we showed up here for brunch and there was a padlock on the door. We saw several others walk up to see the door locked as well. We ended up going to the Panera across the same parking lot.

Wonderful place, great service and food. Wide selection of wines and they server special item every day for dinner. The picture I uploaded is for today's Thanksgiving mean. Wonderful combo of tradition with very decent price of $20. Delicious .. comes with soup/ salad and dessert.. simply perfect.. must try place.

MMmm. Pumpkin creme brulee... So good. Yes, treating myself today. Creamy, nice not to pumpkiny. Hm.. Is that a word? Entree was grilled cheese (back up when I don't know what to get), salad and fries. Not a fan but have had the BLT and fries.. a better choice.

Food is good. Service is usually good. Portion sizes are large.

The only reason this was 3 stars is due to our server being very attentive and sweet. The food was aweful. My husband got the chicken and waffles, I had the Cajun penne (I can't remember what is was actually called). Both were overwhelmingly disappointing. The shrimp in the Cajun penne was barely cooked, the sausage was also very skeptical. The dish was super salty and not very warm. The chicken and waffles were sad unflavored chicken strips on top of very plain waffles. The only reason I'm posting is in hopes this was just a bad night for the place and the feedback might be beneficial. Not to mention the place smelled like sewer but thats not necessarily anyone's fault. It just didn't help.

The food was fresh and tasty. The service was very good but they were not able to accept the coupon that my mother had because they said it was over but according to the computer it was a valid coupon and when we got home we rechecked the computer and it was indeed dated to the end of the month. So we called them and they said that it was a corporate issue and we said it was the responsibility of the restaurant. They conceded and said that they would honor the coupon on our next visit. We were happy. The meals on the menu look like the pictures and they serve very fresh ingredients.

Last time we went to Mimi's! We were missing silverware, a plate and water and when we asked the manager to bring it to us so we could eat our food, she had such an attitude about it! She was shaking her head and mumbling under her breath as she walked away and I saw her pointing toward our table as she was talking to a server and was clearly complaining. Not to mention she never brought what we asked for.

Good first visit. We went for breakfast. A little pricey, but very good. I had the avocado omelet. It was awesome. The only thing I would do next time is request the bacon be IN the omelet and not laid on top. My husband had the Orange Marmalade Cream Cheese French Toast. A lot off food, but he really liked it.

Family came in and we decided to have Thanksgiving dinner here. The waitress seemed rushed and acted like we were bothering her. Took forever to get drinks and service and there were only a couple of tables so she wasn't busy at all. When we asked for more bread we were told that they were out as they stopped serving Thanksgiving at 7. Mind you our reservations were at 6:30. The food tasted like frozen TV dinner food! They brought all of our pies to go instead of allowing us to enjoy desert. Also there was a billing error. I understand that it was Thanksgiving however we were paying guests who were rushed through dinner just because our server had an attitude. Dinner was great due to the conversation and family but terrible because of service and food quality. Used to love this place but I won't be going back due to the fact they had no care for their patrons.

Took 15 minutes to get coffee, 45 minutes to get a refill/food. I had a bacon avocado omelet, which i had asked for no tomatoes and they offered me extra bacan because they were out of avocado which is fine my me and the omelet had spinach in it. Omelet came with tomatoes, two pieces of soggy bacon ans 1 small leaf of spinach in the middle. The potatoes were also soggy. Horrible service and a worse kitchen.

My hubby and I decided to go here for dinner last night and we were not disappointed at all! I had the yummy pot roast and he had the steak with sautéed spinach. Our servers name was Trevin and he was also wonderful. They had run out of my favorite bran muffin, so they gave me an assorted bunch for free. Super nice! :)

Came from wyoming to have dinner with son and friends for thanksgiving the food was horrible then to find out the waitress charged my card 307.00 and my son's 207.00 waiting to have them fix it called and the management was not there so have to wait the bill was only 207.00 so don't know how they made that big mistake not happy at all.

I go there quite often with my family. They muffins are to die for and I always enjoy the seasonal ones. The service is impeccable as is the food.

My husband and I walked in for the first time of the street we told him it was our first time and they showed us the menu and went over it with us we sat at the bar The bartender was absolutely wonderful the meal was delicious and so was the Service they treated us like family as we were leaving they gave us two free muffins for being our first time there that was awesome thank you we will be back

What the heck are you doing. We had a 3pm reservation for Mother's Day and you tell us all the cooks left so it'll be at least 45 minutes before our food will be ready. Little kids won't wait 45 min and we are all hungry. Ruined our Mother's Day reservation. We are now at John Hollys bistro. Thank goodness they are prepared for Mothers Day.

We wanted to enjoy it. But food was not good.

The worst service I've experienced in years. Will no be back; read my review on Yelp.

Terrible food

Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw, but we got seated right after a party of 8 teenaged girls. Service was slow. Food greasy. Not going back!
