Cracker Barrel

Tried going to lunch but there was an hour wait. We had something to do so we had come back after our errands. They told us it was a 25 minute wait so we put our name in and walked around the store. After waiting it seemed a long time I went up to the front desk and over heard multiple people asking where they were in line and for them to say I’ve been waiting longer than the time told. We ended up waiting double the time. It was around 50 minutes. I ended up ordering the country fried steak with gravy and I had 3 sides which was the loaded sweet potato, fried okra and coleslaw. All which was amazing. I understood about the wait cause it did look like they were short staffed. That’s what we have to deal with these days!

The food was fantastic per usual. They serve my favourite Buttermilk Pancakes of all time 🥞🥇 And the Mac n Cheese is so good. I didn't get any photos as I wolfed it down too fast... Everyone's food was great and the waitress was very kind and helpful. Front store staff were also incredibly sweet and fun to talk to. We came at a quiet time, only a couple groups eating. So my only complaint is that many things were forgotten with our orders (5 items) and we had to remind them what we were missing. Aside from that, everything missing came fast and tasted great! A must-have during a trip to the USA.

We arrived at their busiest time 11:30 on a Saturday afternoon. The seating receptionist took our name and cell phone number and told us it was a 25-minute. We waited 15 minutes and were called. The customer service is fantastic. The food was excellent! I always look forward to going to eat there. The atmosphere and food are like the home cooking your grandmother cooked.

I enjoyed this place. It was a last minute decision. The menu is limited which is not a bad thing. I had a bacon cheeseburger which was very large - I couldn't finish it. She had grilled chicken tenders. $30 for two people. Our waitress usually worked mornings but didn't miss a beat for the evening crowd. I want to go back and try their breakfast.

Food was yummy, and they corrected the mistake they made quickly. Food took alot longer to get to us, as tables sat well after us got theirs first. But over all was a good time. Drinks were refilled fast and tasty. Atmosphere was clean and visually appealing. Staff was friendly. Will stop again if I'm in the area.
