La Posta Wimbledon

My friend said we should go and check this restaurant out, so we did...and we weren't disappointed! ;) I was hungry, so I decided to try a chicken and chorizo empanada(£3.50) as a small starter. The pastry was light and crispy, not too dry and not oily at all. The filling was full of flavour, and the chorizo in it added that extra taste! Very good...I could of had another one! :) For my main, I decided to go for the large ancho steak (450g for £26) which came with chips and salad. I had the steak cooked medium-rare, and it was very tasty and filling! The salad was seasoned well, and the fries were light, crispy, and very enjoyable! All in all, big plates of food at reasonable prices, so I can't complain. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the chap who served us (the owner possibly) took time to have a quick chat with us and make us feel at home. So, if you enjoy Argentinian culture, food and wine, then definitely give this place a go as you won't be disappointed! ;) Will definitely be going back! Easy 5 stars.

Went to Wimbledon park for a walk on a balmy Sunday weather and after we were looking for a place to eat for an hour or so, till we found this absolute gem just around the corner. Best cooked steak in town, way ahead of other places we been before. Highly rated in our hearts now, delicious cuts, welcoming staff, good desert 👏🏻👏🏻

I attended La Posta yesterday with my wife. As an Argentinian, I was looking for a place in which I could eat real Argentinian beef, and that was what I have done at La Posta. Excellent quality, very friendly staff and great price made my experience there as excellent. I will return, no doubt, and I recommend it.

I am a huge fan of Argentine food and I have to say that this place is well worth it! They have a very varied menu, high quality and very affordable prices, and the service is super nice. I've been a couple of times since they opened and they will definitely see me again! I had a burger and empanadas, they were delicious 🤤😍
