The Restaurant Hub, Sydenham

Two lovely ladies made my iced coffee for me today. Jo and I’m so sorry I can’t remember the other ladies name. I am very fussy about how it’s made and it all needs to be vegan. They were marvellous, patient and kind and I walked away with the perfect iced coffee for me. Great service, great staff! Xxx

Specifically a review of Slim Chickens. Thought the chicken was decent, the tenders more so than the wings. Definitely a step above the local south London chicken shops. The fries were nice too. It's more affordable if you get things separately instead of the meal deal however this led to things coming out separately. The actual dining area is still a bit depressing but it's a cafe in Sainsbury's what do you expect, general level of cleanliness was good and I liked the ketchup dispensing unit - efficient! Would go again!

Visited today Thursday 13th October 2022 approximately 6.30pm. Had Slim chicken. Tasted lovely. The service from the young girls was first class. Think there was about five of them. Nothing was too much trouble. One of the girls Savannah was excellent . Look forward to my next visit and trying something else on the menu

Visited The Restaurant Hub at 4pm on a very busy Sunday (before Queens Bank Holiday), supermarket very busy close to closing & needed to feed my son. Unfortunately the kids cheese sandwiches were all sold out. Matt kindly made us a small cheese sandwich himself. Beyond kind, going the extra mile. He even didn't charge me for the sandwich. Kind hospitality! Thank you ever so much for saving an unprepared Mum. Will definitely return in the near future.

I used to be a regular visitor at the sainsburys cafe, whilst studying it was a shame it closed down, staff was always friendly and very helpful. I cannot believe how much nicer this new Restaurant Hub is! It’s been open for a week now and visiting there on Friday was such a Memorable Experience. I am visually impaired and suffer with anxiety at times, but this new hub is so well thought together, with bright colours a really chilled atmosphere and a Great selection of food from Breakfasts to lunches hot drinks to shakes. My Server Valentine went out and above his way to assist me and when asked How he likes working for the hub, there was a genuine happy feeling and a huge smile. For this reason I will return because the staff are definitely a happy and professional team. Well Done to the manager for his strong and selective workforce, and also for his regular appearance on the restaurant floor, greeting and talking to customers like me and getting hands on just like his strong staff members. This will now be my Go to, Congratulations on your opening Xx
