Ole & Steen

I liked it. One of the many O&S's in London, this store is a good example of these stores. I like O&S in general as their coffee is better than a number of the high profile coffee shops in London, but also has a superior selection of bread and pastries not found or carried in other coffee shops, most of which are baked fresh on premises. They also tend to have more seating than other coffee shops for those of us looking for a place to sit and pass the time while drinking our beverage. Recommended.

Decent location and comfortable enough small cafe and bakery. Sockets and decent WiFi added bonus. The coffee was pretty unexpectional and served in a take away cup, even though it was 1730 and they said they close at 1900....which I simply doesn't understand. Excuse being they are closing the kitchen! But it takes 1.5hrs to close a kitchen. If you don't mind your coffee in a take away cup and need somewhere to chill and maybe do some work..... otherwise there is too much choice around here to recommend this one too highly.

I visited this nice café not too long ago and was served by a wonderful barista called Leon. He was super helpful, gave me recommendations of both pastries and coffee. A rude person attempted to cut in front of me and was very unapologetic, but Leon was very stern and put them in their place. I am extremely grateful for that. Lovely pastries and lovely coffee, great place.
