It was very very tasty and reasonably priced! I'm definitely coming back again. I wish they had a couple more vegetarian dishes! However, the food was just incredible!

Food here is utterly stunning! Make sure to ask for the extended menu, not just the laminated sheet. There's an extensive selection of papaya salads, some miraculous ways with fried pork, and all manner of other goodies waiting to be discovered. The whole fried fish and pad krapow are exceptional.

Solid service and atmosphere. It is not what you expect from a Thai restaurant as it is located in a pub and both pub and restaurant share the place so it is a quite incredible mix but the beer garden they have is quite cool. I really liked the food. They really did great to make Thai food real here in the uk with the ingredients that only the uk can provide. Is it the same as a 100% thai restaurant? No but they did an incresible job and I really liked it. This place is well located and you have have a good long walk around Hammersmith and even get to the Hammersmith Bridge which is about 10 minutes away by walk.

Friendly staff serving authentic Thai food, which means dishes can be fiercely spicy but they offer less / no spicy options.

Amazing and authentic Thai restaurant inside a traditional English pub called ‘the Salutation’ - if you have difficulties finding the restaurant, looking up for the Salutation Pub. Their dishes are of generous portions for good prices, given how outrageous London’s living expenses are. We ordered steamed whole sea bass, marinated raw shrimps, stirred-fried morning glories, and two bowls of rice. All of them are delicious (given London’s standards and context). The service is professional, polite, and friendly. The atmosphere is nice and calm. You can choose to sit in the courtyard (outside) or inside. I have dined here many times and I see Thai people visiting here frequently, which is usually a good sign that the restaurant is authentic and they cook delicious dishes for patrons.

Really good and authentic thai food! Would rank it the best thai food place in my list of recommendations! The restaurant is located within “The Salutation” pub. Drinks and food are sold separately. My take on the food in ranking order: 1st - Special Fried Rice (Prawn) - Really tasty, finally a good fried rice fix. Had the taste of the wok (wokhey) as well. 2nd - Kung Chae Nam Pla - The raw prawns added a creamy texture and the sauce made the dish very refreshing 3rd - Yum Kor Mu Tord Plara - The pork was really crispy. The sauce was packed with herbs with a hit of spice. Very well balanced! 4th - Kor Mu Yang - A very simple and hearty pork skewer dish with a sweet and spicy sauce to pair with

When it comes to Thai street food with a fiery kick, Khun Pakin is an absolute must-try! In my opinion, they serve the best Isarn cuisine in London. The salmon salad is a true standout, offering a burst of flavours that are simply unmatched. The crispy pork with fish sauce is an otherworldly delight that will leave you craving more. And let's not forget about the delicious som tum, which pairs perfectly with sticky rice. Just the thought of their food makes my mouth water, and I'm eagerly counting down the days until my next visit.

Except that Pha Thai is too ordinary, other dishes are far beyond the level of London Thai restaurants. I would call it the best Thai restaurant in London if the price is considered.

A hidden gem in a local pub. Here are my recommendations:
🙌Steamed sea bream - Must have!
/ Raw shrimp with salad
/ Minced pork with chilli and basil
/ Calamari

The only dish I am a little bit disappointing with is Sweet&sour chicken feet with fried rice noodles because the taste and the odour of the chicken feet is a little bit weird to me.

I would like to try more dishes with khun.pakin.thai . Looking forward to the Thai milk tea icecream!!
