Subway

By being in a heavy tourist area, the shop gets its fair share of non-English speakers and families which can sometimes slow the service. Have seen the father of the family trying to order 4+ subs with very picky kids and a language barrier, which can be infuriating when I've just left work and I want to just grab my sub and go. Once I waited 25 minutes from entering the shop and leaving with only two people in front of me in the queue - no fault of the staff, just irritating customers who took forever to make decisions.

Good place to stay for access to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Lee Valley Hockey Stadium as the tube station is just across the road and parking is free overnight at the hotel. Room was clean and tidy as you would expect at PI. Breakfast was good, served by an excellent friendly waitress. Only downer was the PI booing system, as we liked the hotel and it's location we wanted to stay an extra night rather than transfer to the PI at Excel however despite both hotels having the availability the system said no! This was due to having booked a saver rate - absolute nonsense that does no one any favours.
