Used to go to a fantastic one in Blackfriars, which unfortunately has been closed since COVID. This one in Bloomsbury was very good but without the ambience of the other one. Food was v good, as was the service.

We went on a Sunday during summer and it was around 3pm, and got seated right away. Been here before and to other branches. There can be a long queue during peak dining hours. We ordered some sushi to share, char kway teow, prawn katsu curry and yaki udon. They all tasted really good but there seems to be less meat with the noodle dishes and the portion sizes are getting smaller like everywhere in London. It was still filling for 3 people. Would continue to consider this a reliable staple for sushi and Malaysian food at an affordable price in central. Would love to be back and wish I can book online.

Great restaurant for Asian food. The quality of the food is amazing and the portions are big. The servers are always friendly and fast. Definitely my go-to spot for sushi.

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant over the last 15 years. The food quality has been consistent throughout (I don’t know how they manage that), it tastes just like in Asia. If Asian food is your comfort food then this is the place to go for authentic grub from East and Southeast Asia to warm the cockles of your heart. Every dish is cooked to perfection here but I am completely hooked on their Curry Laksa. It tastes better than in Singapore, which is no mean feat. Their Tantanmen is my other addiction (although yesterday there was not enough sesame paste in it. Hope it was a one-off slip). They have managed not to hike their prices recently, greatly appreciated. There not much atmosphere yo write home about. The place is very clean, brightly lit, and functional. You come here for get the food kick, not to admire linen napkins and designer chandeliers. It’s SERIOUSLY noisy inside so defo not a place for a meaningful conversation over a bowl of fried noodles. Just enjoy the noodles, total buzz.

Good value and tasty dishes. They’re also quite big portions so maybe better for sharing or for a very hungry person. It could have more vegetarian options.

Generous portions, not exactly the real thing (I mean who puts sweet sauce into char kuey teow?) but it’s as close as you can get while in London.

Really good Katsu curry at this place. The portion sizes are decent and the price is very reasonable. A bit small space wise and they don’t take booking but food compensates more than that. Great tempura collection and fresh watermelon juice as part of their summer drinks collection. Overall great food and service.

Verbally told chicken and duck is halal. Ordered the dragon roll sushi (crunchy prawn tempura), chicken katsu curry (very large portion, in that they gave me way to much rice but the sauce was generous too). Penang chicken curry with rice was rich and flavoursome yet chicken portion was smaller. It was not overly spicy but both dishes great. The refillable jasmine tea was good and strong too. I felt it was value for money with good portion sizes. Reminded me of the good old uni days when I’d frequent it. Worth a visit.
