Juicy Burger

This is the WORST restaurant I have ever ordered food from. It was ridiculously overpriced - for some reason their delivery menu is about 3x the price of their in-store menu. They are masquerading under the name "Juicy Fish & Chips" on Just Eat - there is nothing juicy about their food, it was dry and definitely not fresh. Every legitimate review on Google and on Just Eat is a negative one, however they have inflated their review score themselves by posting fake reviews - have a read through them and you will see the similarity in all of the "positive" reviews. I would advise anyone considering ordering from here or visiting the store itself, to avoid like the plague. I complained about my food but they refused a refund - does the food in the picture look fresh to you? The "homemade" breaded chicken burger is definitely not homemade. I have escalated my complaint to Just Eat in the hope that they improve their restaurant standards.

Well what can I say? Juicy Burger, 5 stars! I dragged my friends here before a gig at Oslo last night on the promise of an unparalleled authentic chicken shop experience with Michelin starred chefs that have kept it so on the down low that even they are unaware of their own genius. An unbroken dynasty of chicken shop operators that spans 200+ years, 17 countries and a chicken fillet burger seemed to melt in my mouth yet maintain an ultimate structural integrity found in modern architecture. The Fries straddled the boundary between the French cut and the thick cut which if you are in the fried potato scene is the holy grail of pommes frites. Mayonnaise that trickled like white gold from the expertly trimmed nozzle of a sauce bottle that only seemed to get better the more you used it. The whole experience left a dense feeling in the pit of my stomach and a question in my heart that was "What if that was it? have I experienced the Nirvana of the chicken shops, will anything be as good as that night under the fluorescent lights on the hard plastic chairs on the intersection between Amhurst Rd and Dalston Ln. 5 stars is maximum but it only begins to describe the genius of this humble chicken shop.

In store the food is amazing as the price is okay... As maybe i just order wings and chips... but trust me when u order online it's totally different and the meals are too small.... The burger buns are hard... and taste as if you brought them from the shops... why call yourself juicy burger when ur burgers taste sh*t and dry. Tooo overpriced for what you get!!

Whatever you do - please do not order from here. I am sharing my experience after ordering from uber eats. I haven't visited the establishment and so I'm not sure of what it looks like inside but I have gotten ill after eating the meal I ordered from uber eats. I ordered a quarter pounder with fries. I couldnt sleep and have constantly been throwing up for the last couple of hours. After reading the reviews on here, it's quite evident that the restaurant is not clean and unhygenic. I've already complained to uber eats and have said that they must vet their restaurants properly before listing them on the site. Funny thing is that I had rang the owner when I was ordering my food to add more items to my order but it wasn't possible... I wanted to get something for my mother but now it can see that it was a blessing in disguise that I didn't order any additional items. Once again, do not eat here as I have already paid the price for doing just that! I will be advising people I know to stay away from this restaurant and the sushi restaurant that the boss also owns - apparently it is next door.
