Excellent waystop just off the Capital Ring. Really good fish & chips and a smash burger. Not a classic selection of ales but found a pleasant Red Session Hen in a bottle. Love the Tardis entrance to the Ladies.

Great food (we had beef and chicken Sunday roast with desserts), very kind service and a beautiful place. Nice for kids since there are toys and books! Also nice garden! Would definitely come back!

Found The George on Google Maps and thought we'd try it out for.Sunday lunch. I was expecting a long wait and having to book a table, but it was quiet and we were served rapidly. Sunday roast was £14 with a free starter or desert. Very nice pub, good food, decent beer, surprised it wasn't much busier. Will be going back! again.
